For altcoins, buy low and sell high, and you will make a profit. Although this statement is correct, it does not go for all coins. Some people think that when the market rebounds, their altcoins will rise with it. But the result was leaving the market at a loss.
So choose wisely and follow up the project. See what their developers are doing, or just hiding behind the prevailing saying.
That title is right. Not all coins can recover and only the coin with strong and good projects will recover and convince the investors that their project is worth invest. But you should not worry about that because as long as you can invest in the right coins and have the potential to recover, that coin will increase at the right time. Maybe you can invest in the top 50 coins lists so you do not have to worry.

This is the importance of doing research and analysis before finally deciding to invest, so that we don't choose the wrong coins for investment.
Indeed, the reality is that not all altcoins will recover after the dump, there are even altcoins that eventually become dead coins, because
the team of developers decided to leave the project. What's scary is that the new altcoins that appear today mostly end up being shitcoins,
meaning that once the price drops it's very difficult to recover. So indeed we all have to be very selective in choosing altcoins for investment.
I agree with your suggestion that we should invest in the top 50 coins, most of which have a fairly high demand and will usually recover if the price of
Bitcoin rises. Especially for beginners who do not have the knowledge and experience, choosing an investment in the top 50 coins is highly recommended.

of course not all altcoins will recover, because only the popular altcoins will survive, therefore it is better for you to invest in altcoins that are in the top 100 on coinmarketcap, because it is safer and the price will definitely increase very high in the future, so of course it will allow you to get a big profits in the future from investing in altcoins in the top 100 on coinmarketcap at this time.

Most altcoins won't recover.  People will point out the coins that do, but if you seen the coin graveyard its massive.  Go find me all those 2017 masternode coins that survived lol.  Millions drained because people say if you don't sell you never lose.  Those same people haven't been through a crypto bear.  This isn't the stock market.

It is not a surprise anyway. Remember that not all altcoins have that market use-case, this means that sooner or later these projects will be abandoned by their developers and so investors. This has come to reality and with the continuous market growth and creation of new projects, I'll expect more of these projects will also becoming dead and never made any recoveries.
That is why we should not to rush the market when investing and it is a must to do research before anything else.

The most frustrating aspect is that there are certain projects that are really slow in implementing things, it is a risk you take when you invest in a project looking at their white paper. I know many projects that are still developing for a couple of years who raised money and is listed in exchanges but yet to launch their end product and the developers claim that they are working on it but no prototype and hence we cannot completely say they are a scam but the users who invested are trapped as the price will not rise unless they launch something. So in these situations there is a possibility that the price would rise if they really launch a product as promised even if it takes a few years.

Then there are projects who collected huge amount of money during their ICO and made a hell lot of money and once the market crashed they do not have enough funds to pay the developers and there are struggling to stay afloat. Those coins will never recover and can be considered dead.

It is of a truth that not all altcoins will recover when they dump in price, but one needs to know what causes the dump in price, that is, if it is the market, the team exiting scam or the team working in the background where they are paying full attention to their developments. If an altcoin dumps as a result of the market, it will rebound if it has something good to offer which will draw back more investors to it. If it is as a result of the team exiting scam or abandoning the project, there is every tendency it won't work out again. Now the most tricky part of it, is the project or altcoins whose team are working out something while paying little attention to price, most of the times they come back huge and better, because what they have built over time is worth it.
So therefore, before thinking of holding a coin or token, do well to know the team stand on that project and if they are willing to work it out, because the success of a project depends on them which in turn leads to price growth overtime.
Lastly, knowing when to take profit is also important whether long term or short term.

This has been discussed many times and we all now, not all project are good and most of them is just a hype project, look at the new meme tokens before, they are slowly dying and some of them turn into scam so for me, not all altcoins are worth to hold so if you have a chance to take profit, do it as early as possible or else you’ll be trap on that.

Only few altcoins will survive in every dip, remember the ICO days were only few project is atill viaible up to now. We see how the price fall and how other team escaped without any word. Only few working altcoins can be toatally use depending on the teams performance as well management. ETH been able to survive in every dumping season since its popular and many users in any project. Projects alike can recover whenever dump season happen.

That's the norm. It's a known fact that not all altcoins at the moment would survive a full fledged bear market. Only few projects that launched in 2017 as an ICO have survived till today because that's a time when even the best news doesn't move the market as much as you'd expect it to. That said, I know same thing would happen to most assets that are currently exploding. My advice for people holding various altcoins, I'll suggest taking profits from time to time since no one knows when bear market would come.

There's no assurance in altcoins, it's only by chance that we're going to see altcoins future become sustainable for all of us. When there's a massive drop on bitcoin, it became so vulnerable for alts to cause more tendency to crash at huge volume. Some tokens shows recovery but in the end, the price results was not commendable because when their community loss support their value eventually became cheaper.

It is very true, indeed that not all altcoins will recover and be profitable. There are a lot of altcoins that are only good at the beginning and plummet in the middle or the end.

Not everything that is bought cheaply can be sold at a high price. There are times when we must sell immediately rather than suffer losses that we cannot control. For investors or for people who make trading their main job, what I say is very understandable. It all depends on the market. It could be that when we buy the price in our opinion, only a few minutes later what happens is not an increase, but a 30% decrease. It ever happened.

"In investing, what is comfortable is rarely profitable." — Robert Arnot Whatt

What you are referring may be true in short term trading. IMHO, if you are hodler and have the nerves to see the market in red you wont lose. We panic when we see 20 or 30% dip but in reality its just a matter of nerve testing. See fall of bitcoin from 50k to 32k due to Musk tweet, market has recovered ever since and those who didn't panicked didn't lose anything.

Of course not all altcoins can recover, this is because of the devs. can't wait to continue the project and they choose to stop because they feel they get a big profit by selling all the coins they have to the market.

For me, better to play safe than regret. Maybe there are a lot of altcoins out there that looks promising in short time, but there are big risk too behind it. If me i usually buy big coins for long term investment. Or at least it have very small chance to delisted from market. Because if already delisted from markets, the coins will only be souvenir in our wallet.

It is quite natural for new users to look for a "new Bitcoin". The cryptocurrency market is for many just to get rich. Unfortunately, in practice, it looks like that most of these people are persuaded to invest in coins or tokens that are to bring them a fortune, and in practice they lose all their money.
Each new investor should very carefully check what he is investing in and, above all, know in what he is investing for.

Many coins never pump and just dump while there are other coins that pump and then dump and then they never recover, can you distinguish if the altcoin in which you want to invest belongs to one of those coins or is it one of the few coins that can actually grow over the long term? And the truth is that for the majority of users the answer to that question is a big no, and as such people should avoid to invest in altcoins at all costs.

As well as being able to do some research if you still want to know more about the potential of altcoins. It is not advisable for them to hold large amounts of altcoins any longer. Maybe setting a benchmark ranking at CMC will give you a little relief so you don't buy altcoins just because there was a trend at the beginning but the progress was slow and even more sinking. This risk is often experienced by some people who insist on investing without doing further research.

So true, when the coin price falls, not all altcoin will recover, some even fall deeper because market demand is very low. When one enter the crypto market, must be equipped with the right knowledge and analysis so as not to make wrong decision. There are so many altcoins that tempt trader, but not all coins are able to show good performance after experiencing a fall.
Because of that every trader prefers to make buy orders at low prices, because considering losses and it is difficult to get a pump back in the future on some Altcoins, so in such conditions the strategy that must be applied is to avoid coins that not so popular yet and just looking at the coins that are always in high demand, that's all.

That's normal that's why there's what we called risk.

Actually, only a few of the many altcoins are legit, the majority are scams, so that would justify the statement that not all altcoins will recover.
When you are investing, though you see a project to be legit and has good potential, it's still not advisable to just focus all your investment on a certain coin or few coins, always look at the possible worst-case scenario, so make a strategy that would minimize the risk.

Actually it must also be targeted very well because everyone who buys must also determine the price, as well as when you want to resell, there must also be a price determination because that is what can make it profitable even though when it goes up and when it goes down it's very difficult to know

I think this already became very popular idea and public knowledge known by nearly all crypto coiners. I failed miserably holding some erc20 tokens after crash and nearly %90 of them couldn't recover half the price. I dumped them all at once and converted to big coins like Ethereum or BNB.
