When shit like that happens to me and it does I spend far too much time thinking of how to exact a punishment to the delivery company. I generally never do a thing but think bad thoughts. I wonder how many of us do the same. I would say 1 in 15 packages I ship or get shipped is fucked with in same way.  Most of the time a delay. Once in a while damage and very very rarely lost/stolen.

  But waiting on 500 sticks would push me  too much it is why I don't order direct.  I try to never be on the hook for more the 2k-3k if I order with btc.  I don't know if you paid 18 btc or 22 btc and I don't know how cheap the btc were.  but 18 btc at 500 ush  is 9k  and 22 btc at 635 usd is 14k.

I can't handle having 9k-14k at risk.

 Right now I have 2x s-1s at 2.9 btc and about .7btc in other orders . A hub and a 5 chip dual miner.

So I have  about 2300 out in orders. That is close to my max for stress levels.

Hello Iluvpcs   I was wondering if I could go ahead and send payment for 2 now?  I fear that they will sell out to a few buyers in bulk and would like to reserve my measly 2 before the frenzy starts!!!

Damn DHL driver took em home and is mining with 500 of em all weekend

They will show, or more will... I have a few bits to go to get enuf coin anaway.
(you try mining bits at 3.1 gh .. very slow.... months to get .040000000)
I will be able to buy bits on coinbase as soon as they verify, GOX took a month to get verified, then went out of business.

DHL doesn't know where the U1's are - I was home all day today.  Read the notes below, package required signature but was 'dropped off' at 'LTR BOX', I went up 20 minutes later and nothing (well a small UPS box and my USPS mail was there and I don't have shared mailbox).  I called DHL at 2:15, they said probably a note left that you were not home was to say 'call us' for re-delivery, but it's weird it says "Signed and left at mailbox".  They said you'll get a call back from local DHL hub before day is out and filed a tracer on the package and entered a request to have local place call back today.  Fast forward to 10 minutes ago I call again, saying I'd like to swing by the local DHL hub and pick this up (as I do on occasion with UPS or FedEx UPS closes 8 PM, Fedex 9 PM).  I'm told, oh sorry, they closed an hour ago (5 PM); but you should be getting a call on Monday.  Not loving DHL at all right now

One would hope. It's easier to do the math when your working in bitcoin to buy mining hardware based on ROI, but with the currency drop it's really hard to see the prevailing prices remaining for those selling them in $.

So on this batch at .044 I get the impression you'll sell off what you haven't committed to selling as of yet? I.e. if someone were to send in a small mit full of bitcoin they could buy some of the present shipment once your comfortable about locking down the tracking?
