Hey iluvpcs, I just placed three separate orders.

I'm including this image here because there was a gmail outage when I placed these orders and I wonder if maybe your private message notifications perhaps didn't go through. better safe than sorry!

Thanks again for the U1's!

Thanks for he reply, Bradley!

Ordering was easy (just had to spend some time to figure out the whole signature/transaction ID routine!).

No problem!  Although I'm not affiliated or being compensated by BitMain or IlovePCS, I'd rather have people enjoy the experience.

Hi, All!

I would like to get a pair of these to mine some Alt SHA-256 crypto.

How do I go about?  Do I just follow the ordering instructions on the first page?

~Gee

Yup.  Works great!  I've bought 5 of them like that...

Hosting option:

Been talking to Sushi/Bitmain a lot lately about hosting here in the US for people who want gear in the US (MidWest) S1’s. You have faster access to S1’s if you want delivery, or hosting services.  This week I've had 4 separate requests for S1’s and seriously thinking of managed hosted mining services for people who want external management of these devices.
I’ve been doing IT related wok for 20+ years, Data Center management / build out in the 90’s and up until 6-7 years ago.  I have identified two locations with multiple ISP’s (combine multiple ISPs for load balanced outbound connectivity to support the 99.9% up time for mining).  If I could offer hosting for $110-140 a month for S1 or similar devise pointed to your POOLS of choice, would this be of interest?  It’s something I’m actively investigating; both locations have Generator, hvAC, and water chillers for excess heat removal in the warmer months.  I would be interested in at least having 50+ units host to make it worthwhile for me and my two partners to manage and monitor.  IF this went well I would work on multiple pods in other locations.

First two locations for hosted mining would Grand Rapids, MI and Richmond, IN

PM me or reply here

@iluvpcs

2 units received for transaction 1c11fea316b55eb2a6c03f373092b45f47ca32c7e7994fd40a01b9995ed101dd.  Both units seem to be hashing away at 2GH/s out of the box using bfgminer 3.10, sweet.  BTW, you can use the CP210xSetIDs.exe file to change the Serial Number for each device.  It seems both units came with Serial Number 00001 just like the ASICMiner USB Devices.  Changing that number allows your device to use the same COM port if you decide to unplug and plug the device back in, nice.

Thank you very much, threw some trust your way! Smiley
What are the benefits to changing the serial no? I didn't get it. Please explain.
