Anyone heard from iLuvPC today to see if he got his package delivered?

It would be the same size and type as the factory fuse but lower amp.  I don't remember the thread but it seems the factory fuse gets hot and not fast-acting enough that it gets welded onto the fuse port and melts the plastic housing (or something like that).  30A has been determined to be the sweet spot.  I got mine at Pep Boys.

I use 30A ATO automotive blade type fuse instead of the factory 40A for the 49-porters.

So, on one of my 49-port hubs I see this on bfgminer with 24 antminers. (I am also running 10 dualminers on the same hub)
Is it normal to see 5%-25% HW errors on some machines? I see it's only 4/24 USBs that are giving me HW errors > 5%. Particularly the one that is 25% HW errors is concerning.

the 25% error stick is most likely a dud in the making.

I have had more then 200 of these pass through my hands. 3 died off.  an error rate of 25% may mean it is dying off.  try to find it and clean the part that enters the usb port.

I use  fine sanding pads  wait for link

http://www.grainger.com/product/3M-Sanding-Hand-Pad-4ZR94?functionCode=P2IDP2PCP

then give it a shot of air http://www.amazon.com/Fellowes-DUSTER-AIR-152A-2PK/dp/B0013CEQTK

then see what it does.  also once cleaned try  a direct port in your pc

tHANKS, will try to cleanup and test again. Looks like it's the same USB, so probably not the port.

Try in a hub by itself at a slower clock speed, on a separate mining session.
I have some that were clocking 75% error at 0A01 (2100), when clocked at 0981 (2000), they behave perfectly.

From my testing and others, anything higher than 0981 is not attainable without a voltage increase.

some hubs with some sticks can do a good 2.2gh ,but by and by 2.0 is the max.
He should also make sure the heat sink is tight I had a few loose ones.
Most likely it is a 'bad' one that will age quicker get hotter and die.
At least that is what the dead ones did with me.
They ran less then perfect at 2.0 they ran hot and they died off.

I have had a total of 7 or 8 with this problem and the other 4 or 5 got better with the cleaning and or sink tighten tricks.
Do you guys use the same fuse that came with 49 port hub? I remember some users complaining about fuse overheating or burning when using BE sticks. Can these actually be fire hazard ? If yes, what precautions can I take?

Same here I really want to get 5 or 6 more next batch.  I could only get one last batch and only had enough for two this batch but I was too late to order.

Great, gives me time to accumulate some BTC for a bigger purchase

After this order how soon do you estimate ordering and receiving in your next batch?

This page says "Not in Stock" in the title, does that mean that new orders aren't being accepted, or that they won't be processed for some time? I'm interested in 5-10 U1s, but am unsure whether I should send BTC now, or wait until that tag goes away. If anyone knows, I'd appreciate the feedback!
I only have about 2 dozen extra (I try to keep ~5% for RMA and lost package replacement).  I'm out right now.

They still have not arrived here's my UPS tracking info... they are in my town for all of today, I should have put a request in to go pick them up from UPS.

Does anyone have a link to a how to for the antminers, I would like to OC them to 2GH/s if possible but these are my first so I am unsure as to what to do with them. Is it as simple as it is with a gpu byt setting the chip speed at the command line?

I found this Antminer U1 tutorial that explains overclocking - http://www.rubicite.com/Tutorials/AntminerU1Tutorial.aspx
Thanks, thats great sounds simple enough
