Though I have seen the news and lots of tweets, but CZ is yet to announce it officially. I am hoping that the deal will be done very soon, so, we can expect a better service from the new CMC website. I can't disagree with your thoughts that many bad reputed exchanges ranked in the top in CMC, if Binance handles it from now, then those fake volume exchange's rank will be lower or removed totally! Binance DEX idea was failed, so, Cz is trying to acquire CMC, so, that Binance can get more traders and supporters!

I know that the purchase has not been fully realized yet. If this happens, I expect the markets to be more mobile because Binance will use this service to achieve a very powerful manipulator position. It will both have about delisting its competitors from the list of this service and will force users to mislead by making changes with many data. On the other hand, it will be able to change prices more easily as it increases the ability to manage all the market conditions that may occur. So, when I think about how accurate this purchase is and how it affects the market, unfortunately, I do not think of good things. Especially, one of the most manipulative services of the market has not been a nice thing to buy such a service. My only wish is that this transaction doesn't happen and that market control is not left to Binance and its team. According to my own opinion, if this purchase takes place, I can say that very bad days are waiting for the cryptocurrency markets.

I am still in doubt if CMC will truly be willing to sell that great asset. That is their source of income and the number one cryptocurrency watch site. I still find it hard to believe, until it is finally acquired by CZ.
The news is truly going round and many are eager to know how the deal will end.
I just feel we should ask ourselves what would make the CMC team want to sell it out?

It seems that they are still in the negotiation stage, but I hope Binance can buy Coinmarketcap and eliminate all scam and fake exchanges so that investors will be safer in this market. Hopefully in 2020 the scam exchanges and bullshit projects will be eliminated, it will make the market easier to go up.

Coinmarketcap will now lie in good hands and we might be able to see accurate data from now on. While this sort of a good news there are other things to worry about as well. Binance has been acquiring almost every good player in every field. It acquired good peer to peer exchanges in many countries including WazirX from India and not it's acquiring Coinmarketcap which is a top ranker itself in it's field. So Binance is acquiring the top players in every field and is setting a monopoly in the crypto market. God knows how will Binance use this monopoly. They might use it in a good or may be in a bad way too.
We have to be careful and be aware of the situation and keep our bitcoins safe. I will still suggest not to keep the cryptocurrencies on exchanges and own our private keys!

at first thought i thought this was an april fools joke but after opening and read the contents i dont see anything that you mentioned it as a joke . so is this really for real ? but isnt that cmc is a seperate company and binance too or you only mean to say collab but not totally owned it unless they sold it but that is also not possible because both platforms are huge and kinda bit succesful already .

still was a good news if ever this was legit .we can now expect more accurate results because binance repuation will be now at risk

Its going to that direction already. Though its yet not confirm whether CZ had really acquired CMC, money wouldn't be the problem for the transaction to push. The Chinese are up to make themselves on top of crypto community whether we like it or not. They are know to have good reputation to building good products but it may also mean centralization at best.

There might be changes when Binance has a coinmarketcap website. We know that all this time, coinmarketcap data has always been one of the references when deciding on good coins for short and long-term investments and with the inclusion of Binance, it may change the rating and tokens listed on coinmarketcap because many currently do not have volume but keep listing on the website

I thought everyone here wanted coinmarketcap with the real trade volume and not ranking up those fake and shitty exchanges? I think this will bring more good in cryptosphere when Binance takes over. Coinmarketcap has the reputation to advertisement scam projects as well, I do hope that with Binance at the helm, we won't see banners of some projects that are just as shit and scammy as every other projects in the wild. So let's see how Binance will improved coinmarketcap, it people don't see any, I'm sure they will move to other options as there are a lot of coinmarketcap competitors out there.
