if Elon Musk stops writing about crypto, or about the doge in particular, the value of this one will obviously fall, settling on values in keeping with the market environment

Doge turned out to be just a tool in the hands of an experienced manipulator, who once again profited from the greed and gullibility of ordinary users. In pursuit of advertising, the function of logical thinking is disabled for many. All of these events were quite predictable after the very first tweet of Mr. Musk.
I think this is the obvious with doge coin and many more alt-coins that has backing up by a business tycoon or influencers, some influencers actually get paid for it while some business men can get profit from them investing and when the see the avalanche coming the pull of leaving the poor investors to count out their loss.

This is pretty much expected as a reason for why he shilled DOGE over his Twitter many times. He's a bag holder of course and he won't do such thing that can possibly affect his good status if it won't be beneficial for him. Most of us will do the same thing if we are in the shoe of Elon Tongue  For ordinary people like us, It's best just to ride him to gain some profit and it would be smart of us to know when we should exit that ride.

Did they count the crypto holding of Elon Musk?

I think he has a lot of crypto assets as he has been tweeting and that resulted to hype the market.
If Bezos would tweet something like Elon did, I think it will even result to a more bullish market, but I hope he will not play here.

He admit that he have no big amount of Crypto, the ones i remember is its only 0.25BTC which is gift from his friend.
About the Doge tweet, im not sure he hold Dogecoin before he tweet it, its just a joke tweet which overhyped.

Eloncoin.org - Mars, here we come!

it must be disappointing for elon musk to see articles like this that only the money that matters for these people while he already waves his flag of success for car technology and space exploration. and then there jeff bezos who only monetize products of someone else that are for sale. if you analyze it this jeff bezos is just a leech taking an extra percentage of every sale.

as for doge, it's still going the be there with a price. not sure if elon musk is serious about it but if he is then ain't that something that we crypto users has to support?

But if Elon Musk really bought himself a lot of DOGECOIN then he is for sure hiding away a lot of fortunes in crypto. The Bitcoin buy from Tesla was public only recently,,, when will he show off his stash of crypto memecoins? And in the end, why should any of us cares who is Number 1 or Number 2 richest?

Nope. There's no regulated exchange to measure Musk Crypto Holding so most probably all his asset on both Tesla and SpaceX was considered. Elon portfolio insanely jump high in a short period of time so its normal that it will face some minor setbacks on valuation.

I don't if the spot is important rather than Musk total assets to be considered on pouring down on crypto. 1st or  2nd spot does not mean anything. Most important thing is Elon still above 100B USD total asset regardless of the rank.

Like all super rich people Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos have most of their wealth in the form of shares of their companies not in actuall FIAT.
Therefore it's totally normal that their wealth can fluctuate quite a lot. A lot of billionaires were down more than 50% during the financial crisis in 2008 but are now back up of course and most of them have way more than before 2008.
Also i don't see why this should have any impact on the crypto market at all.

I think Elon Musk has many invisible assets because he is interested in cryptocurrencies. On the list of the richest people in the world, Bezos and Musk compete fiercely. I don't believe that this competition will have an impact on Doge. Elon Musk will continue to be interested in DOGE as it has for years.

So.. what does the richest men ranking list have to do with Doge? They're two completely different things and no, Musk isn't the "CEO" of Doge as he used to say before if that's what you think.

What happens with Doge? Unless Musk decides to keep pumping and dumping it like the McAfee era, Doge will probably just go back to its older price ranges. I don't see a reason why the price should stay where it is now or grow again to 7-8c. Nothing happened, so the pump was in vain.

He was just tweeting it but the people are way more into FOMO, I'm skeptical if it will really be good for the whole crypto community in the long term but hoping it will just do good like adaption.

It doesn't matter, Musk was never serious about Doge. And I think recently he realized that he went a bit too far, so he stated that doge has problems with centralized supply, because way too many people seriously believed that he's gonna make Doge official money of his Mars colony or something.
That was the main problem and if those bag holders doesn't agree with him, the price would really fluctuate because I think he's serious not supporting it anymore.

Agree, its not because how wealth he is, but about the ability to communicate and manipulation his followers. But, $TESLA price also manipulated and now on the way to going down, isnt it same things will happen to doge?

Maybe. The doge price now is going down, and we do not know how deep the price will be down. It could be back to the lowest price as before and stay at that price for a long time or it could increase more in the next months, especially if Elon or other people tweet about DogeDoge as before. Many possibilities can happen to DogeDoge, but we can only guess. If you want to buy DogeDoge, you need to make sure that the trend is still down, so you can buy the coin at a low price and hold it.

This doesn't change anything, Elon Musk is still capable of manipulating bitcoin and doge and probably a lot more coins, if he is strong enough to manipulate bitcoin price with just one tweet, just because he became second richest person in the world doesn't change anything, he is still quite powerful and influential.

I rather have no person changing no price with just one tweet, that is way too powerful and I would rahter not have any person on earth have that kind of power and hope that Elon loses his power to tweet prices higher but just because he became second richest person instead of first doesn't change anything. If Elon says something positive about doge once again, you will see a huge increase in doge once more, that will keep going on until people stop making financial decision based on some rich dudes twitter account.

now we look at Dogecoin depending on how Elon strategy? isn't that our current perception?
well this is why cryptocurrency must be purely guaranteed from various issues when Elon has to be shifted from his position as number 1. So what is the future of Dogecoin without Elon? maybe that's more precisely what comes to our heads, because when we mention the name Elon we will mention Dogecoin.

Dogecoin has bleak future, it gets pumped because it gets publicity, but it has no fundamentals - its development was abandoned until recently, it has no roadmap, it's just a copy of Bitcoin/generic altcoin, it has problems with a large part of supply being concentrated in a few wallets. Sooner or later the market will tire of playing pump and dump and we will see the true value of Dogecoin.

IMHO, I believe it doesn't matter if Jeff Bozos or Elon Musk is first or second, because the truth is they are still the super-rich individual on this planet.
But what is the connection to the Dogecoin price? For me, there's nothing because the Dogecoin price hike is just artificially induced and sooner or later it will return to its previous level and Dogecoin remain as a meme coin.
