You don't even need a computer to mine Bitcoins. Just use a pen and a paper:

Laptops can do some things efficiently without bringing your desktop every where you go, it is the same on Mobile Phones now but they can't take loads like a lot of laptops can do.

It can do your office works or your games but I don't think you need to make your Laptop a mining rig. Yes, games and applications might end up your laptop broken but they are the main uses of it not mining.

It is very disadvantageous to mine in laptop, it may destroy your laptop completely, one can mine it but for very very small amount. As laptop designed for light work only . I strongly suggest you  to  mine by mining tools so you will not destroy your laptop. Laptop is meant for light work only but it can not replace desk top efficiency.

It's a clever idea actually, kind of like the P2P network that torrents came up with. You don't handle the entire burden by yourself, but contribute to the network. Everyone does their own little part and it all adds up to one. If the network can support the assembly of data in a similar fashion to the way torrent downloading does, the speed can most certainly be fast.

But the cost effectiveness is questionable. Can you actually make enough to keep your laptop running nonstop day and night? How much would you be mining with this process? The same question for smartphones, even if the capabilities exist, are they worth the effort (at this stage)

Previously I used laptops for the purpose of exploiting Bitcoin and altcoin. But after I tried Bitcoin exploit for a month and my computer was broken. I think the laptop will never be able to exploit Bitcoin and altcoin

I have also broken my three laptops when I tried downloading software on the internet to exploit Bitcoin and ETH. Laptops are created for simple office tasks rather than being created for the purpose of exploiting Bitcoin

From the beginning, mining can be done by anymedia (laptop, PC or even Server) including just by using a smartphones. but the main purpose of mining is to get income as much as possible right? Ofcourse the mining result is much different if we use a big server with high specifications than just only using a laptop or smartphone . The higher the server specification and faster that used for mining the more income we earn. This situation already realized by the mining hunter.

Although it can be mining bitcoin I'm sure you will never get a profit though. I've done that before, and make the laptop that I always use is badly damaged and I will never again do that. Mining bitcoin is very hard to do now using latpop or pc factory settings, you need a pc or laptop assemblies that support for mining.

Even smartphones can be used for extraction purposes. Currently, I have eight androids, and I am using 8 of these phones to exploit ETN. But I do not think that exploiting Bitcoin with a laptop is a good idea

not just laptops and computers, even today we can use some smartphones used to mine, I've seen some people using Samsung S5 for mining

because the capacity of the Samsung S5 is very large and supports mining, in addition, we can mine by using ASIC.

Yes, maybe laptops and even some smartphones have technical preconditions for mining. But what would be the final result, is it's profitable? No, it's not.
Today it's not worth to cope with mining unless you have mining farm. Expenses that you as an individual have would much exceed your earning. So, don't go for such form of mining, it's not worth the costs and efforts.

it seems like a good news for the developer of the technological powers but I think mining coins is not main uses, if you mining it using the laptop it will only get you only a damage of the lap.

Nowadays with laptops, the processors are very weak (except for workstation laptops). Exploiting bitcoin at a constant rate will make the laptop faster to resist a scrap machine

Mining even altcoins using laptops is not advisable since it would severely damage the motherboard of laptop. If it is used for mining bitcoins as op said by combining the computing power of many computers, then the laptop would surely get damaged and so this should not be done.

The World’s First Blockchain Core
Because it requires a lot of power and electrical resources are not small, the process of mining (mining) cryptocurrency is usually done with a special computer. Can be a desktop that is fitted with many graphics cards to server farm.

But lately emerged an alternative form of software that allows users with laptops or regular computers to participate in mining without needing to spend to buy expensive devices.

The Honeyminer startup software runs dynamic mining by combining the user's computer into a pool of thousands of other computers. Each computer contributes power to the cryptocurrency mining process.

The "power" donated comes from the computer GPU. If it is not in use, then the computer GPU will be used to participate in processing the mining process together with GPU kompter-other computers incorporated in the pool Honeyminer.

Thus, while the GPU capability of a computer may be small, the combined power of thousands of GPUs can generate significant resources for this collective mining process.

If one laptop with internal GPU mining  is almost not profitable even though it maybe destroy laptop but if you have the mining platform connected from many sources Yes, it's possible to make a profit.

Nowadays, Bitcoin mining difficulty is very high and as we know that the power generated by GPU is small, mining Bitcoin using a laptop is a bad idea because it will not be profitable for participants
