So i feel pretty stupid now. but yes what is the exact syntax for the start_mining command... 7 core cpu here.
start_mining [7] , start_mining [<7>] , start_mining <7> -- not cutting it. either invalid arguments or failed to connect to daemon

shit i tried that one before also.. Wallet failed to connect to daemon... Is this a firewall issue?

Yes. Block reward is wrong. If it is anti-instamine fine but if not then it is a problem. At which height does the proper rewards kick in?

i think its a prereq. i ran it sandboxed if i may ask did you as well? thats my guess if you also are
First run was sandboxed. But not subsequent attempts

i am still guessing it some prereq., as some users have it running but idk haha
damn, "each block decrease reward slightly" too ;(

Run the CLI version if you want to mine! It's working besides a seed note going down every once in a while. Can someone help run additional seed nodes? We really need that at the moment...

"getmininginfo" in rpc should do it
your hashes will be listed right above the "networkhashespersec" Cant get the GUI to run so I am using simplewallet and the CLI daemon

I have no idea what's causing this error, I'll investigate it.
It's not a virus, you can compile it yourself from the github source and see for yourself.
