Reality check for Americans who will be using the Monaco card to buy groceries ever week: you are supposed to pay taxes on any appreciation in value seen by the underlying crypto. This appreciation in value (if any) is calculated from the crypto's original purchase to the time it is used in the eventual Monaco transaction. If it's less valuable when you spend it than when you bought it, no tax. If you've held it for over a year, tax is 15% capital gains on just the appreciation. If you've held it for less than a year, the amount of the appreciation is considered ordinary income. I am not a tax accountant like my stepdaughter is, so take what I am saying here with a "grain of salt". But the truth is either as I describe above or something close to it.
Unfortunately, use of Monaco card will not magically mean you are free from the taxman.
So I advise to keep records of your Monaco transactions like I am going to do, and pay the correct amount of tax on its use come April 15. That's what spreadsheets are for. Hopefully Monaco will include some kind of annual .csv download of card usage...(hint, hint).

Well I don't like how this is going. I'm an investor. I invested after the ICO was announced.
It's the last day of "this week" ... the deadline was the 18th of this month.. now we are on 23rd of the month...You should have taken care of everything before setting a date.
I think this is a bad sign, so the start (if there is going to be a "start" this week) is already bad.

Trying reading any of the posts on the last page, heh. Token is not tradable yet until a contract upgrade to address multi-sig wallet incompatibility is complete. Estimated timeline has been "this week" for a while now.
I wonder... is Monaco team going to announce something else awesome around the same time? =)

Following guidance from TokenMarket and the exchanges, before the token lists, we need to perform an upgrade that will address an incompatibility issue with certain multi-sig wallets. Whilst this is not a major problem, it does require action to ensure that your experience using MCO is the best it can possibly be. Therefore, we will need to re-issue the MCO token before it becomes transferrable to remove this incompatibility.
Any changes in my Wallet necessary ?
Majority of the Contributors won't have to do anything, the upgrade will be automatic.
When is this "Upgrade" expected to be completed? If the upgrade is necessary, Please go ahead and complete it as soon possible So we can move on to the next phase of Monaco project. I'm just more concerned about the developments and delivery of the roadmap in a timely schedule .

Both exchanges are good alternative for temporary period but we really need MCO to be at Bittrex. Liqui is also good along side these exchanges. Let's see when trading is going to live. May be they waiting for Bittrex to give sign and all exchanges start at the same time.

I expect https://liqui.io/ to list Monaco, they list new tokens on their exchange. They got big volumes on new tokens. So I guess we can expect a total of 3 exchanges at the moment. Although, it is safe to wait till the team makes an official announcement.
Poloniex is taking like forever to add any new tokens. So I don't expect Monaco to get easily listed into POLO. There is a good chance to get listed into Bittrex. Provided the Monaco team is ready to pay about 3 to 4BTC as listing fees. Bittrex is good enough for a pump
if everything goes as per plan. You know what would be interesting for Monaco? Chinese markets, considering Kris is in HK too
