Probably because you posted in threads that got trashed.
But I remember if I have posted in a thread or my post removed by MOD or someone, I will receive a message from Bitcointalk Forum system and I can write new post again, but honestly, this issue make me have trouble and I need check my account many times without reward from my bounty campaign by this issue.

But how is it possible that whenever i do a new post there is a decrease in posts count after few seconds? This is happening continuously.
Yes, that is happening continously, I think all of us experience that our post counts are decreasing since last week. I notice it already since last week. So, why is it still continue to decrease? They are not yet done for removing some threads in trash? Whats going on? There is no PM by the moderator..
Till now no reply from the moderators that how much they have done and when they are going to end this cleaning. We are suffering loss from our signature campaigns because of this.

Oh poor you. And what are you actually taking about? I've posted several times in this thread and others on the subject:

Probably because you posted in threads that got trashed.

If you've made a lot of posts in a thread and it gets trashed then your post count will go down. Don't post in unsubstantial threads that are liable to be deleted if you're worried about this.

I faced the same problem today. The number of posts when I enrolled into signature campaign was 1632 and till now I made 31 posts. Tomorrow will be payment day and I see in my profile 1655 posts only. So by my profile I made only 23 posts. I have no time to make 7 posts to finish the campaign's minimum, so I am going to stay without payment for this week and it's horrible, cause of bitcoin is my only job I have.

The Pharmacist is pretty much spot on. Don't post in unsubstantial threads that are liable to be trashcanned and don't make the bare minimum of posts just to hit your quota if you're worried about not getting paid. Had you of made an extra ten posts you wouldn't have anything to worry about and this is the problem here. People forcing themselves to squeeze out as many posts as possible just to hit their targets before the end of the month over x amount of accounts which just leads to lower and lower quality posts.

I'm going through your post history now and trashing every crap thread you've posted in so expect your post count to do gown more. Don't like it? Stop posting in crap threads or leave the forum and get a job.
I didn't mean that.
I am totally in favor of cleaning the crap threads and you all are doing it pretty well and I appreciate your work. I was just asking that Is there any specific time period of forum cleanup?

If all the posts you made in that activity period are trashed or deleted then yes, you'll lost that activity.

Go ahead and trash 50 of my posts every week, I will post 80. I have no dignity. lol indeed.
EDIT: I know that mods only can trash threads and not individual posts. so when we see our posts decreasing, mods are not selectively deleting our posts, they're trashing an entire thread with everything in it.
If they delete posts of an individual then surely the person get notified through PM, i agree they are just cleaning the whole threads and that's why we didn't receive any PM.

I think it's because the admin decided that it's off topic and removed it.

Just happening to me for a while, had me wondering why. Now finally have the answer. Thanks for the heads up man Smiley
However, I think BTCTalk should have notified us for each post that gets deleted due to this reason.

That's probably because you post mostly in huge spam threads or other garbage threads, which are designed by the shitposting OPs to be easy for shitposting alts to reply to.  Stop posting in threads that have 50 pages--hell, even 20 pages.  I also have no sympathy for people who try to support themselves with sig campaigns, and it blows my mind that people are so desperate to get positions in them, and then, come post count day, you discover that they got booted or couldn't reach the minimum number of posts.  Being in a signature campaign isn't a terribly difficult "job".  I usually end up way above the minimum, precisely because I don't view this as a job.  And you, there's no excuse.  I work a full-time job and still make more than enough posts to get paid.  If you're unemployed and have an excuse, that's exactly what it is, an excuse.
Dude, I took a look at your posts and can't say you are much better commentator than I am, we post in the same threads.
But today I realized that must be it's providing some clearing of campaigns which do not exist any more, so all our applications and posts like "payment received, thank you" were removed and it cutted the number of our posts in profile.
I didn't say you were a shitposter.  I suggested that you not post in threads that suck in the noobs who post crap--"How can I make bitcoin?", "Does bitcoin have a future? ", et cetera.  And your mistake was not making enough posts to ensure you hit the minimum.  It's not that hard, except for lack of good threads to post in.  Most of them lately are mindless chatter.

I don't usually post in campaign threads to thank the manager for payment.  I get the feeling that they don't care anyway, and it clutters up the thread.

So sad to hear that, therefore there were many shit posts and threads around the corner, anyway, it is for the good of the community, the forum must be presentable in all means, moderator is gettig more resposible by doing their task now, but sadly, we were one of the posters on shit thread and gone to trashed, and might be one shit poster too. There were many questions the pump around but already answered many times.Anyway this might be a lesson to everyone here. Let us also be resposible on taking the post and choose where is the right one to post.

I don't have any problem with the cleaning of similar or shit threads, moderators are doing there job well for the betterment of forum but it will be more better if they compile a list of trashed threads so that everyone should aware of those threads and try to avoid those kind of threads in future.

I have been experiencing the same thing for last couple of days but since I had experienced the same in the past and read a few old threads where I got an answer to this problem I wasn't worried much but my worries now is maybe someone else has access to my account because I noticed almost none of the threads I posted in got trashed so the only possible reason of my post counts decrease is me deleting my own posts which in reality I didn't do but someone else might have. How can I know that?

Now I know what had happen to my post count that decreases instead of the count to increase. Some time in August which almost made me lost my weekly pay from the campaign that I was promoting at that time and another just happen this week. Many thanks hilariousandco for your reply to this guy threat.
