Volta is gonna kill the GPU mining scene.... this is intense.  I know what upgrade I am gonna save for =)

Hopefully they are smart with this GPU and are gonna leave the 1080Ti in its hotspot for a while.... since its gonna handle most gamers happy for a long while.

The price is what concerns me...

Then again;  the drop on all the pascal card prices will be interesting as well;  the fight will be between hashrate density and rig count.

I wonder how much more efficient they are getting at that point;  W/Mh percentage.....   like 20%?  or more realistically 5-10%?

Volta will drop just after Vega to make sure AMD does not have a huge gain this year is my guess Smiley
I saw an article that said they are pushing it ahead, "Q3 2017" Smiley
I will like vega for the cheap cards, hoping 300$ish, but VOLTA is gonna CHANGE MINING IMO
Cant WAIT, might start trying to test business connections to try get some asap when they drop Cheesy

any thoughts about building mining rigs nvlink vs pci-e cards ??
i`m curious how it will work ...

btw ... it seems to be very big improvement by nvidia on new cards  Cool

You know how much NVLink cards are? way, way more than consumer ones. those are Tesla cards, not intended for consumers.
