How to abandon peers, after connecting with which blocks disappear and many unconfirmed transactions appear?

so it is very strange, that 24240 contains 0 + 0 .  Something bad with forging algo.

What's the difference between BTS and Nxt, with POS, no mining and AngelShares?

https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=1562.msg17528#msg17528
Quote
Nxt will have the following features:
- Decentralized Asset Exchange / Colored Coins (Starting after block 30000)
     This allows gateways to issue other currencies (fiat or crypto) on the Nxt network.
- Decentralized Marketplace / Auction
- Decentralized Mixing Service
- Encrypted Messaging / Chat
- Decentralized DNS / Alias System (Starting at block 22000)
- Transparent Mining (Partially starting at block 25000)
- DDoS Protection - Project Kharon
- Voting

Messaging / Chat -> Keyhotee
Decentralized Marketplace / Auction -> DomainShares ?
Decentralized DNS / Alias System (Starting at block 22000) -> Keyhotee ID / DomainShares?
Decentralized Mixing Service -> Keyhotee Wallet ?
Decentralized Asset Exchange / Colored Coins (Starting after block 30000)  -> NOT BitAssets
Voting -> VoteShares?

Looks like Nxt plans to build a copycat ecosystem using initial funding of just 21 BTC....

All of that said they are missing many key ingredients (Dividends, BitAssets, Scalability, etc).

Lets see where things stand in 1 month

Who's the copycat? I think we need to have some sound on this problem. As I know, Bitshare was firstly proposed to be mined by hardware, and then around Nov 26th they changed their idea to let bitshare be PoS mining when they found released Nxt 100% PoS on 24th Nov.

I mean if this function finds that there're already a lot of accounts, it will try to generate a longer account?

No.

Then I don't understand why the current addresses are all around 20 digits long, but the address space is 10^77.

1739068987193023818 is the genesis block

so 4747512364439223888 is 1 of 72, then he should say something, tell us how he could generate the blocks continously.

He owns 5% and actively forges while other major stakeholders don't. Nothing special.

ok, accepted. but i still can't generate block. I go to bed now. merry xmas!

Nxt seems more and more popular these days. I'm a little bit worrying about the short address length now. It's seems there are only 2^64 addresses, much less than 2^160 of bitcoin. According to http://preshing.com/20110504/hash-collision-probabilities/,  if there're more than 1M addresses, there's more than 0.01% probability to have a collision. What happens if someone have the same address as me? Does it mean both of us can control the nxt in this address?

Do you mean that the probability refers to same addresses being reassigned even though the users will have used different passphrases?

Yes, it seems you are the only one who get what I mean. Maybe I did not express clear enough. Since there're less than 2^64 nxt addresses, if there're mor e than 1M people generate addresses, assume they are all using the different secret phrases, there's still 0.01% percent for two people to have the same nxt address.

I haven't found the answer in the wiki, and I have no idea that this issue has been already discussed millions of times.

Ok, I found one place states that nxt supports 10^77 addresses, but what I have already seen are all very short addresses (around 20 digits). Does it mean 'secret phrase' -> 'account' is not a determined function, but a function depends on the current account count. I mean if this function finds that there're already a lot of accounts, it will try to generate a longer account?
