What the hell just happened? The 10,654 NXT I bought this morning just had a negative transaction added about 1 minute before the transaction sending it to me.........10 hours ago?

I'm stuck on block 9514, no matter what I do (starting from the beginning etc). Does anyone else have this problem?

Disappearing balance bug.
I had my account unlocked, on localhost, and mining, for some time. Suddenly, the balance shown in the top right corner went to 0.00, and the "send money" arrow got deactivated. I freaked out, assuming somebody has stolen my Nxt. Checked the transactions list, nothing has left my account. Refreshed the page, F5, logged in again - still 0 balance, yet no outgoing transactions. Only after restarting the server (without deleting any *.nxt files) and logging in again my balance showed back to normal. After a few hours, the same thing happened again. Restarting the java process fixes it, but it was quite an unnerving experience the first time.
Curiously, while my balance was showing as 0, and sending money was disabled, I was still seeing the "You can generate the next block..." message. And I even generated a block, while at 0 balance. So it may be some UI bug, the server still aware of the real account balance? I found no exceptions in the log near the time this happened.

I have recreated this issue with my client (0.3.14), and was able to fix it by restarting the Java software.

Suddenly today I got stuck at 3.13 and it either shows the same txs but 0 balance, or shows or misses one or two txs from yesterday and a higher balance. Receive a lot of incorrect blocks, or the blocks stuck at a number and even goes back one or two disgits... 3.14 the same

Today was a long snowy day and most of its time I spent analyzing Nxt network traffic. That anonymous hacker, who helped me to find flaws in Nxt implementation (related to spammed unconfirmed transactions), was kinda sleeping, so I expected to have a boooooring day... SUDDENLY I noticed an interesting pattern in peer requests/responses! Long story short, our peer network has a lot of zombie nodes with modified soft (I bet it's just a dumb script). It looks like this:
So, next few hours I spent playing with the zombies trying to find a way to counteract a hypothetical cancer nodes attack. After I devised a few work-arounds I decided to ask BCNext's opinion... and got a much better solution in 2 seconds! (This guy definitely has a lot of tricks up his sleeve, hehe.) The solution is based on the same idea as the block generation. Proof-of-stake! I'm going to implement it in the next version, so be ready to update ur software...

If you have confirmed transactions that are not yours, you probably got hacked.
Unconfirmed transactions show up for everyone, so that's okay.
How long was your password?
BTW, I'm glad c-b-f put the warning for less than 30 char passwords, so we can avoid situations like this. It's a different system, so people will not be used to having to use a brainwallet.

It is not because of the 60NXT, but because of hacking in others accounts is not a nice thing. We are a small, evolving community please don´t shit here.
