This thing is pretty frustrating.
It just does not update the Blocks unless I keep opening and closing it.
Then everytime I close the Webpage and open it again, I have to unlock it again.

I have 11 Active Peers, all within 8seconds of each other.

But I cannot figure out how to keep it updating.
Sometimes I close it and it updates, other times it does not.

Should I be closing the cmd.exe part, or should I be closing the Webpage part?

somewhat confusing that is for sure!

I guess after having a bit of a complain up above.
2 things please;
    1) can someone please send me 1 NXT  so that I can be excited when it finally is working and my balance is not 0.00     7325120753602111352
    2) Anyone want to sell me 100k NXT? (and how the hell do I do that)

nxt is not working for me, i have had the same number of coins for days?  the client is open and unlocked, how can i check if it is mining?

Open [Recent blocks], there should be a timer over the most recent one. The very 1st transaction in ur account must have 1440 confirmations before u allowed to mine.

The laundering issue won't sound so good to them

Aye, that's why I call it "BANK" Smiley

Wow, I like it! But it will have to be behind Tor etc imo..

What for? Do u think it will be seized by FBI? Ha! We could use distributed DNS when Nxt implements it.
The laundering issue won't sound so good to them, but you are right we can use the dis.DNS!

I've got an idea

What if someone launches a Nxt bank? It could solve some issues:

1. Anonymity. All transactions r traceable, the bank could be used to send funds from one account to another off-chain. It's a plain laundering service.
2. Unstable mining rate. Owners of a few coins have very little chance to generate a block, the bank could mine blocks using deposited coins and spread fees proportionally. It's a plain pooled mining.
3. Trust. U have to trust someone when transfer NXT in exchange for goods/services/bitcoins, the bank could be used to do 2-step payments. If one of the parties violates agreement then noone gets the coins making it unprofitable to scam. It's an automated escrow service.

What do u think?

Yes, we seem to be rolling again.   Grin

Coz a lot of people use my node to mine blocks and when it crashes... u see.

When this happens, the only way to fix it is deleting the .nxt files and redownloading the blockchain, but doing this every couple hours is a bit silly.

It's also dangerous to delete *.nxt files, imagine what will happen if we all do it. Thank you for the report, BCNext is working (I suppose) on fixing the issue.

nxt blockchain explorer (alpha)

http://87.230.14.1/nxt/nxt.cgi?action=1

very naked but fast ;-)
update time is currently 3 min. most important functions should work.
as soon the nodes are more stable i will reduce this to near realtime.
statistics are in work now, will add them tomorrow. some charting is
planed too. if you have more ideas what to add or find bugs, please
let me know.

I like it!

Don't forget that network can reorganize blocks up to 720 ones back.

- who are the shareholders, all Nxt owners or just the ~100 pre-launch benefactors?

100 pre-launch benefactors + a lot of guys who bought/got NXT.

- could you set up a static site for the client (github?), it's getting rough to keep up with the constantly updated version URL's posted here and there.

It's better if someone else do it. I'm working on a Nxt related project, so I have no much time.

holder of 10,4% of all NXT, generating about 50% of all blocks

This account holds Nxt which is still unclaimed by early investors.

how can it be generating blocks if its unclaimed?
