Less than 48 hours to hard fork at block 1,000,000, upgrade to Nxt wallet version 1.10.1 or higher.
Is there an exact roadmap or timetable for the Nxt 2.0 release? I was reading the development will last around one year. Is this right? It is a long time.
Based on https://nxt.org/roadmap/ we can expect to touch it on testnet 5 months from now where it will need to be debugged for 6 months, give or take one. It may sound like a long time but it's a short timeline for a project as ambitious as this.

There is more interest coming in at Ardor if you use the NXT price movement as a barometer. But I think still not enough from outside of the NXT community.
Sooner or later people are going to tire of the incessant ETC/ETH bullshit and jump on something else. Maybe Ardor?
I have thought about this as well. Soon the hype for ETH/ETC will be all over and their prices will start to decline. DAOs will be a thing of the past and thus people would move onto new and better things. In my opinion, I think that NXT/Ardor will get pumped too much after the release of the Ardor platform. But it may all end once the hype is over with this one too. Anyways, as long as NXT price goes up the more profitable will be for NXT holders when Ardor comes up.

Nxt 2.0 will go Enterprise, providing a service for companies blockchains.
No enterprise is going to use your shit coin. Credits.vision, Ethereum, Lisk, and 50 other projects are light years ahead. This is nothing more than a P&D. In fact no enterprise wants to deal with these tokens so Lisk and Ethereum are out as well. They will go to Hyperledger and more professional groups. To think "enterprise" is going to use your ICO coins.
It kinda feels to me like NXT is the Linux of the cryptoworld. Kinda nerdy, nobody understands it really, bad PR, outshone by other, bigger, shinier competitors, but with a dedicated crew working on it.
If we take that metaphor further, Ardor looks like the Ubuntu of NXT, at least from a PR standpoint.
