Could you investigate how evernote works for a team ? We could keep it rolling.
I took a look at Evernote. Result:
Evernote
Evernote for Business seems alright, but it costs $10 pr user a month.
Sharing a free personal account could be a way to do it BUT it will only take 1 troll in the team to change the password and the rest of us will be lost. Bad idea.
Springpad
Free. Use online or as iPhone/iPad app.
I spent some time reading up on this, because I never used it. Seems to fit better as a personal assistant, with sharable notes, pinterest-style. So-so for writing notes, good for bookmarking, photos, and being social.

I don't think it's the best choice.
PODIO
Professional - free or paid.
Online + iPhone, iPad, Android app.
Free for up to 5 "employees" + 5 externals. Or 9$ per employee + free to all externals.
I read: If one of us pays 9$/month + permits the rest of us to enter + contribute, we are all set.
This is by far the most usable tool, and the way to go if we want to expand the newsletter later on.

I have a neighbor who uses Podio. Can't get his arms down when he talks about himself, his firm and Podio.
I will get an introduction. Perhaps throw a bottle of red wine in and make him do the initial setup for our project.
yes, deciding tool is the very first step for collective work... it should be easy to use, preferably free, google docs kinda style, Podio look good though (need to consider size of team, it might expand or shrink anytime), we collect edit, final result can also be sent as PDF file so one can print out/distribute to media magazines(coindesk, etc.)
