solved  Wink
Mind sharing how you solved it with the rest of the class? Just in case someone else has the same issue... Saying "solved" doesn't really tell anyone anything useful Wink

I lost my seed. I have my password but I cant change it and also cannot send funds. Keep getting this error  "object of type 'NoneType' has no len()"

Im running 2.7.18 on windows 10

My google authentication says trustedcoin.com so I think that’s right

This looks sorta like the bug that was reported and fixed in https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/issues/1954 & https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/unable-to-send-btc-from-electrum-wallet-full-error-message-in-description-1637501 but you are using the latest version.

How long and when did the issue first start happening? Also which version of Electrum were you using when it first occurred? Did it happen after you changed the password for Electrum?

this started yesterday. I was using 2.7.0. when  i started getting the errors so i updated electrum and im still getting the errors. I was never able to change the password. it always said incorrect pass (which is not true) then i hit enter without putting in a password. once i did that it said wallet is not encrypted from then on all i get is errors

It sounds like you are indeed hitting the bug I mentioned previously. I think your wallet thinks that the wallet doesn't have a password yet the seed is still encrypted or something similar to this. I'm not sure how to correct this without restoring from the seed ( which you said you don't have )

Perhaps ThomasV knows of a way to correct this.

Yea i contacted him. He says the wallet might be corrupted in which case im screwed without the seed
