What are the predictions for this year's?
my prediction is 2.0-2.5 billion dollar an marketcap for this year.

These are nice prospects so we will see how they will be fulfilled. Of course, I hold my thumbs to keep this prognosis as far as possible Smiley

A good post on reddit:

The DEV may be should consider the distribution method used by UCASH right now, they just launched their new currency you need to register at their website, verify your email and phone number and get 500UCASH their referral program which give you 250UCASH for every new member you refer  is what will be good for ByteBall so basically you let people work for ByteBall and spread the word.you will get thousands of new people to join ByteBall in not time.

That would be worse if it totally went that way.
Example... Tai Lopez has 1 million follows.   So, he would end up with a bunch of money simply posting a youtube video with no skin in the game.

You would end up with a bunch of youtube pumpers just to dump coins.
- I admit, it would spread the coins around faster and end up with a lot of volatility as people rush to sell them (even though it would be a lot of people with small amounts).

Well i guess that what was Tonych looking for he want to give the coin to as many people as possible,he can for example put 10% of the coin to distribute through a referral program, that will get the word spread fast about Byteball.

is it because it not done with sync

Well, first, you've 9 months behind on syncing.  You made the mistake of changing the defaults on the wallet installation from lite wallet to full node.
You will have to wait until you sync.

And, if you don't have any bytes, then you still will not be able to send the black bytes.  Must wait until you've synced first to know.

hello there, thanks.
i have some bytes for fee, but wonder if it enough. and also if wallet still sync will i still be able to send any or do i have to wait until it done sync.

Could we somehow relist Byteball on coinmarketcap with the MB denomination and price... instead of GB price? A $0.8 price / MB is easier to wrap head around .. compared to $800 / GB.. Not to mention the pshychological barrier of large numbers.

byteball got to expensive. time to delete some zeros ahahaha

This has been a demand from the community for a long time. And I agree with the basis for this demand. You expect people to act rationally while investing, but they don't. This can be easily seen from the strong rally in Ripple seen during the last 2 weeks.  Grin
I do not know how easy it will be to effect this change, but it is certainly required.

I completely agree, People act irrationally even when they invest and this is a fact. We can't ignore facts and we shouldn't. Therefore we need to have Byteball listed with Mb price on Coinmarketcap.
I would say this issue has changed and nowadays, more people look at market capitalization as well. However, there are still people who don't think about whole market cap and just look at the price. If this process to shift GBB for MB is easy, then it could be useful

Hi there,

I'm putting together an evaluation matrix of all notable Anonymous/Private cryptocurrencies, and could use your help clarifyiing Byteball/Blackbytes.    Feedback including reference to something official (website, whitepaper etc) or Dev comments (or devs themselves) would be very much appreciated.

Thank you!

Any more progress on the discussion wether to use as a standard unit of measure of Byteball's price the Megabyte instead of the Gigabyte?

If you mean convincing the exchanges to make the change then no. In fact, it seems even some users have a hard time believing it will make a difference.

The effect is called unit bias and is not uncommon. It is even observed in stocks when they split.
Don't try to prove logically that it makes no difference. We know that and of course it is the case... but we are talking about people's perceptions here which are not always consistent with logic.

Yes, as mentioned, eth has no problem being traded. Neither do btc, bch, dash and all the other coins with high value units. Nobody said that people will not buy a coin because of this. We are saying that it affects their decision, particularly the more inexperienced ones.

You could argue that in the long run it will not matter. Maybe, maybe not, but I see no reason why not to make the change if possible.

As for the argument that bittrex has a minimum trade of 50000 sat, it means nothing. So what if you cannot buy and sell a single unit? This is true for any coin lower than a 50000 sat/unit, so plenty of them.

I agree with you Bob. If psychology plays a role, and it does, we have to acknowledge that and act accordingly, because it is convenient to do so.
