Great news, I think price is at bottom    Cool

From few pages I don't see  Shocked any price related talks and people crying Cry about this drop.

So now is time to buy back our cheap train tickets to "tha moon".  Wink

 Cheesy Grin Tongue

The price drop is mainly about supposed IOTA bug, which happens to be similar to Byteball they said. So the big holders were spooked and sold to minimize risk to capital. The price will recover once this issue is laid to rest.
It doesn't affect Byteball. From what I heard, even the hashing function is different.

That's correct; however, the holders don't know the details.  They (not all) only know that IOTA and Byteball are both DAG.  So, understandably can assume both are affected the same way even though they are not.

That said, I don't believe the IOTA bug is the cause since ALL cryptos (yes, bitcoin too) have taken a very big hit over the last couple of weeks.

mainproblem:

byteball is not intuitiv, it needs a perfect easy gui for all the bots.

solution:

byteball need a bigger and faster working team.

time will tell.

Big team means big cost too, tonych did not hold for himself much. So it's not easy till someone come and work as voluntarily.

jep, from now on, the bytes should be given for free to merchants/buyers and people contributing as coders. the price will dump then more, but i think it will anyway. the chart is showing a bottom, which is going hopefully to hold. i think the next months are very important.

I have a full node client which resides on a pc that is used strictly for crypto wallets. I don't check the wallet daily, since it's always open, but this morning I've noticed the blockchain has been stuck for about 45 hours.

Tried closing the wallet and re-opening, but the chain does not want to move forward. Anyone else seeing this? Checked github and I don't see a new release, so I assume this is a one-off type of issue.

Suggestions?

All paid signature campaigns should be banned.
tonych,

Please consider implementing the signature algorithm discussed here:

https://github.com/trezor/trezor-mcu/issues/169

and implemented on the Trezor wallet so that we can make a step forward on implementing a standard way to sign messages with SegWit addresses.

As far as I know this is the only implemented proposal so far.

1) Anyone who keeps their coins in a Trezor wallet would be able to sign messages with them for the ByteBall bot.

2) More SegWit compliant wallets can/will be asked to use/implement this algorithm

3) This will help in the adoption of this proposal as a standard.

Byteball has a great comunity of users, that's a fact.

For instance, one of this forum members, Michail1, help me recovering more than 77 GBB lost in my wallet. Thanks for this hard work you did and for the info you gave me.

It's a pleasure to meet people ready to help without asking for a reward.

Byteball is not only about technology (that is great), but also about human beens (that's even better).

 Grin

You're welcome.   Cool

Darn, I forgot to ask for a bag of money as payment.  Oh well, next time.   heh.

So you are saying according to the below report...each MBB is equivalent to 0.0539 cent? Asking I meant and 0.0425 cents for each MMB (Mega BlackByte).
=========================================
Last 24h traded vol: 100,268 MBB      UTC time: 2017-09-16 18:51:28
Current Best Ask: 0.0539 MB/MBB      Last price: 0.0425 MB/MBB
Current Best Ask vol: 1,000 MBB      Last vol: 1,000 MBB

No, 'cents' has nothing to do with it.

The trading number is 0.0539 MB [per] MBB

So, for example, if you gave up 1 MBB (MegaBlackByte), you would get .0539 MB (MegaByte)
(Dollar/cent or bitcoin isn't part of that number)

Added coinmarketcap.com data like JSON api upon last BlackBytes spot price on BEEB:

http://www.beeb-bot.com/API_request.php?f=last

[{"id":"BlackBytes","name":"Byteball BlackBytes","symbol":"GBBYTE","price_gbyte":0.0449,"price_usd":0.7870314187008,"price_btc":0.0030539184,"GBB_vol":0.425,"available_supply":1232662.8456,"total_supply":"2111100","market_cap_usd":970144,"last":"2017-09-14 01:01:41"}]

How will be the price be in Mega bytes or Something? What is MBB in the exchange?

BEEB speaks MB (mega) coinmarketcap speaks GB (Giga). It has no influence with the price as it is a ratio: MB/MMB = GB/GBB

So you are saying according to the below report...each MBB is equivalent to 0.0539 cent? Asking I meant and 0.0425 cents for each MMB (Mega BlackByte).

Is it still too late to take part in the Facebook company bounty? And where can I see the price

just make advertising. if you hold some coins it will pay off and the price level will go up. you will profit even without any bounty.
