Friends ..
I installed a purse and sent coins there GB. I do not have the bitcoins address (But the bot requires it). I get all GB and GBB in the distribution? Or do I need to do something else?

Install Electrum (or any BTC wallet) and sign with a BTC address even if it's empty. Otherwise you won't get your blackbytes.

Where are the Transaction Fees going ? Why not free like IOTA ?

IMO fees are spam protection. Can someone confirm ?
yes and
white paper page 6
"Fees are collected by other users who help to keep the network healthy (more details
about that later), so they stay in circulation.
" -> see Witnesses (the witnesses collect the charges as a reward)
To understand why fees are required, it is recommended to read this as well: page 3 "Exchange rate"...

From my point of view it is worth reading at least the first pages of the white paper.

A network with no fee has no future (somebody, somewhere, has to pay for the network).

Could anyone explain the sports bet procedure (not only the oracle, but the smart contract creation, and where can we find counterparty).

To find a counterparty, there is a dedicated channel on Slack.
The smart-contract creation is described there: https://medium.com/byteball/making-p2p-great-again-episode-iii-prediction-markets-f40d49c0abab

Since you ask for blackbytes... do you know, or does anyone reading, know what's the exchange rate for GBYTE/GBBYTE
Please update this price every once in a while here on the forum.  Wink

There is no exchange for it. There is #trading_blackbyte on https://byteball.slack.com where you can see offers:

ASK orders:
1.20539 GB/GBB   |   0.055 GB   |   4.562823717E9 GBB   |   @zonedoutdad (I'm pretty sure this line is a sorting mistake on slack)
0.01 GB/GBB   |   0.01 GB   |   1.0 GBB   |   @moonlander
0.01199 GB/GBB   |   0.0012 GB   |   0.1 GBB   |   @dmicah

BID orders:
0.01809 GB/GBB   |   0.181 GB   |   10.0 GBB   |   @conibito
0.01800 GB/GBB   |   1.8 GB   |   100.0 GBB   |   @altcore

For the record, there are now two bots that facilitate blackbytes' trading, beeb (which is currently in maintenance) and freebe, the latest trade on freebe is at 0.027 GB/GBB. Check out https://byteroll.com/blackbytes#bots for pairing codes (and more info).

Good thanks a lot! I hope these bots will become incresingly efficient so that we can do easy trades ourselves. Byteball is really paving the way of innovation in the crypto world  Wink

@ChainSmoker: I'm not sure.
I would expect these:
byteball-lite.sqlite
byteball-lite.sqlite-shm
byteball-lite.sqlite-wal

But if I delete all other files as a test, these files aren't enough and Byteball creates a new wallet.
Anyone other then Tonych in the developer team that controls the distribution?

I really recommend to try the features Byteball, create another wallet and send some money around.

Why , you recommending sending money around , whats the gain about this? to create volume orso??
To get a feel for how Byteball works.

@ChainSmoker
I think your address is enough. Resending means sending the same transaction again, you'll receive the exact same Blackbytes again.
The sending wallet can click "re-send private payloads" from the transaction history:

@ChainSmoker
Think of Blackbytes as a post-it handed to you by the previous owner. The post-it says: "ChainSmoker is now the new owner". Together with handing you the post-it, the DAG registers that the previous owner is no longer the owner of these Blackbytes. The DAG does not register that you received the post-it.
Now, if you lose this post-it, the previous owner can simply give you another post-it that says: "ChainSmoker is now the new owner". *
If you want to give your Blackbytes to someone else, your post-it contains all the information you need to create a new valid post-it for the receiving user, and to register the change of ownership in the DAG.

I think giving Tonych your address (and asking politely) is enough. Resending means sending the same transaction again, you'll receive the exact same Blackbytes again.
The sending wallet can click "re-send private payloads" from the transaction history:

I really recommend to try the features Byteball has, create another wallet and send some money around.

* Comment needed on this analogy: does it help explain how Blackbytes work?

I was having some blackbytes in my wallet.I took a backup before the last airdrop.Today i recovered wallet using 'full backup' option and the blackbytes that i had before airdrop are still there but blackbytes that i received after 7th August are LOST.I was told that recovering though 'full backup' also recovers blackbytes but this doesn't happen in my case  Shocked
please someone tell me here how much is 8 GBB worth?I lost 8 GBB today even i restored using full backup.  Undecided
Blackbytes are a very smart implementation of a private asset, but they aren't very intuitive to use. I've experimented a bit on how they work, and created a Byteball: Blackbytes FAQ thread with my results.
Quick fix: you can ask Tonych to re-send your Blackbytes from the last airdrop. And indeed, you need to make a full backup after every transaction with Blackbytes, both sending and receiving!
DAMN! I thought one time backup was enough. My old blackbytes are still there in my wallet but the blackbytes of this distribution are lost.I am trying hard to recover lost files using some software but not found any files yet.Can tonych really send me blackbytes again? What i need to prove to him?

I have a strange bug on 1.10.1 wallet on win 10 x64. Wallet crashes when trying to sync.
I already had a light wallet 1.10. Then updated to 1.10.1, made backup and moved %appdata%\byteball folder.
Started Byteball, created a new wallet, chose full wallet type.
Now start wallet - it tries to sync and wallet closes after 30-40 seconds. No error screens, app just closes.
Tried from 2 user account on same machine - the same result - app closes.
Whats wrong? Does anybody have such problem?

I can confirm the problem.
I just had a Surface tab temporarily available and wanted
to make yesterday a test (sync performance -> full wallet on fresh win 10 + fresh Byteball installation).
Wallet crashes while synchronization is 0%, about < minute after the start.
Can be reproduced with multiple installations with 1.10 and 1.10.1

Microsoft Surface Pro 4 (Intel Core m3, 4GB RAM, SSD) fresh WIN 10
What kind of device do you use?
I thought it might be a device-specific problem (Core m3 problem??).
Because about 4 weeks ago I had a Surface Pro with i5, since there was this Probeme not...

Message is purely informal (if someone has similar problems) - I run my wallet on other devices (they work without problems)..
