One more try.  Grin

1. I created Copay wallet. It contained 1 address (AAAAA).
2. I sent 8 BTC to AAAAA
3. Then I sent 0.001xxx BTC from AAAAA to Byteball
4. What Copay did:
   a) They sent 0.001xxx BTC from AAAAA to Byteball
   b) They sent 0.05 BTC from AAAAA to BBBBB (I never did this transaction - it's done automatically for what ever reason)
5. Now I have two addresses in my Copay wallet (AAAAA with 7.949 BTC + BBBBB with 0.05 BTC)
6. How do I get the BTC from BBBBB to AAAAA?

I hope this makes it clear.

This is not correctly.  You could not have put in 8 btc and only sent out .05.
There has to be input and output.
So, I think you have several small transactions going into AAAAA and the wallet app took the closest matching which was close to the TX you wanted to make.  it was done and then a fee was paid and the rest of the change went back to another address.

What is the Transaction ID for your step 3?

Read at LEAST a couple of pages back on a forum thread before posting questions that were just answered.

That said, you don't get free byteballs for simply linking an address.  You had to actually own bitcoin in that address at the time of the snapshot.  And, the byteballs haven't been dropped yet.

of course i know that, this is implicit, i linked it with an address with two bitcoin, but still zero balance on my wallet

So, you ignored the posts about the distribution happening sometime "tomorrow morning" which is today?

Security and convenience Notice for users of these hubs

byteroll.com - 1gbit unlimited in North Europe.
e.byteroll.com - 1gbit unlimited in North America
s.byteroll.com - 200mbit in Singapore.

They do not have the "Push notifications" enabled, as that requires Google Cloud Messaging/Google-Services to function. When using those hubs you wont receive push notifications / when someone sends you a Chat message in Byteball, you wont be notified until you look at the Byteball app.

This is in my opinion a security precaution, to not give any data not even 1 byte to Google for using Byteball, either the hub or the Byteball app. The information Google receives when using push-notifications is at least "Android phone Y has message available for delivery at datetimestamp ...", in my opinion that is too much information.

Further, the hubs and witness wont ever reveal your IP address as is done by the byteball.fr/worldmap. There is no logs on the above hubs, logs go to /dev/null.

Other hubs you can use is blackbytes.me/bb which isnt mine.

Hey Michail. No. It's like what I said. I had 1 address in my CoPay wallet.
I send 0.001 from it. But what CoPay did: It sent the 0.001 + 0.05 to a new adress which contains now to my wallet.
The 0.05 are still mine. But now I don't know how to get the 0.05 back to my big address.

Which is what I said.  Change address.

But, without seeing the transaction ID, it's hard to explain/guess.  You're welcome to message me directly to work through this, but asking in a forum without any information is simply going to get a lot of guessing done.   What you think and what I think are simply guesswork until we're both looking at the same thing.

Im not familiar with copay wallet, but if you not control private key, In my opinion you have only one way: send full amount to other wallet and than send back to AAAAA

With Copay you only hold the private key for the wallet itself. I don't know how this technically is working but it's odd that they create a new address and make a parallel transaction to it.
So, it looks like Copay isn't a good choice for things like byteball, where you need all BTC in one address. I am glad they only sent 0.05 BTC to the new address and not 50/50.

hello, i tried the android apps, am i need to send btc to claim the byte ball ? or i can claim it with only sign address ?

It's too late for this round which happened today.  Next one in a month.

You need to send btc to the bitcoin address that you register with the byteball transition bot.  You register that address by sending a small amount to where it says OR by signing from that bitcoin address.

Check when the distribution starts!

You can see on our "Top 100 richest" page when the distribution starts

"Richest" #1 is the remaining amount to be distributed (currently 819,723,311,688,651 bytes). When the amount starts decreasing it means  the distribution started. Enjoy !

byteball.fr is an alternative hub (paired with master byteball.org) and community witness operated on a 300Mbps unmetered link.

We need more support to our community-driven Witness:
In your wallet settings hub set byteball.fr/bb

Thank you!
