Hi gotminer,

What about MSI GTX 1070Ti Armor ?

Thanks
armor cards suck

How do they suck ? Don't they perform well on OC levels ?
Actually fans are very efficient and silent, you couldn't notice the rig is running.
my MSI Armor OC are also doing very fine and are very efficient. those with 1 x 8 Pin connector Shocked

My only issues with the EVGA FTW models are:

 1) 2 power connectors makes it harder to get enough power to them in a many-card setup
 2) higher cost than the SC model.

Otherwise they should work the same as the SC - I don't think the cooling is enough better IF at all for them to boost noticeably higher at "efficient" settings, though they might crank out a few more hash than the SC if you push them to 160+ watts.

Armor cards don't suck, in my limited experience with them - but the cooling is NOT all that good given the HUGE fans and overall SIZE of the bloody things.
They don't seem to cool quite as well as the EVGA SC models, though close, and they DO cool better than the Zotac mini models.

Two power connectors?  Same as my Vega 56's?  They require two 8-pin's, if I'm not mistaken.  Between two EVGA 1000W Gold's, I had everything I needed in the box to power my six gpu Vega 56 rig.

Vegas use a lot more power at their most efficient point though, even if you mod them and such to reduce power draw.
The lowest CLAIM I've seen was 130 watts on Monero mining, and most reports are closer to 180 or so.
I can run *5* EVGA SC 1070 ti (or the Zotac Mini but I'm not buying any more due to fan concerns) from a SINGLE 850 watt PS comfortably - and there are enough connectors to go around if I use the Seasonic X-850 (EVGA G2 850 is constrained by having to use a "dual" cable to having 2 cards a bit closer together than I prefer, AND EVGA doesn't have dual cables with 2 x 8-pin connections so I'd have to use some sort of adapter for the 5'th card or get some sort of custom cable made).

If you want INSANE, the new Sapphire Nitro Vega 56 model needs *3* 8 pin connectors per card.
I could BARELY see that for a Vega 64 since they soak a lot more power, but on a Vega 56?Huh??
Probably a nice card, but VERY VERY hard to try to set THAT up for use in a mining rig.
Hmmm, I wonder if that factor was deliberate..........and if Sapphire is planning a "mining specific" Vega 56 model with 8 + 6 power for later release.

Zotac AMP I'd worry about, as it doesn't mention having ball bearing fans (only the AMP EXTREME in the Zotac line specifies ball bearing fans).
Same reason I am no longer buying their Mini model cards.

I have two units of Palit Dual, I actually removed the coolers and set waterblocks instead, so my stats can't be compared with some air cooled cards, but anyhow I want to share it. So my OC settings are
PL is 90%
Core + 208
Mem + 315
these setting I'm using for neoscrypt and if I'm mine something without high memory usage I use -502 mem instead

How is Zotac AMP?

Be careful though as cards will react differently to OC in all environments, humidity, room temperature and etcetera can affect the performance and you will have to find your own settings

Same settings SHOULD work on the Gigabyte 1070 ti - but I refuse to buy any more Gigabyte cards except PERHAPS Aorus models due to their JUNK FANS.

I knew I read that somewhere.  Just couldn't remember where ... Lol.  Honestly, I had some on back order earlier in the week and cancelled the order after I saw that post and several others.

Your hashrate will suffer a little but its finding the balance point between electricity consumption and hashrate. As with all the threads about any card you need to experiment yourself.

After i said about reducing power to 65-70 you took it to 50?? These cards are rubbish below 60%. Hence why i suggested 65-70% which ive personally found to be stable running +800 mem on micron memory cards.

Crank yoiur power down to 65-70 and see how stability goes. Increase by 5% until stable

Thank you for reply. If I lower down my power to 50% it works fine and stable but get low H/s then currently mining Mona coin lyra2rev2 algo on 100 pwr + 200 core + 700 memory getting 44-46 MH/s.

didn't know that I can't return now I have to deal with this .

I've personally never had one.  I say that because I've read about many people having fan issues with them.

it depends on your vga memory vendor
install gpuz and check if your memory vendor is samsung or hynix or micron
if you have samsung +150 core +600 memory
if you have hynix +150 core +100 memory
if you have micron +150 core +400 memory

Thank you for suggestion currently my settings are 100% Power , +200 core and +700 Memory
