You are right. The difference between Indian and Australian players is that the Aussie players did their homework, while the Indians took everything for granted. While batting, the Indians were trying to smash each and every ball for a boundary. That sort of strategy was not suitable in this track, and that too against the quality Australian bowlers. On the other hand, Labuschagne is batting very patiently, and providing good support for Travis Head. KL Rahul tried the same approach while India was batting, but then he ran out of partners.

Yes, the pitch is slow in pace and bounce. It is difficult to bat on this wicket, but I think under lights, the pitch will help batters. Australians knows their target, so, they'd play safe till the last 10 overs and the way they are rotating strikes, the required run rate would not be large.
Australia essentially destroyed Indian batting as they are always the favorite playing under pressure. It's mostly the India who wins more games overall but Australia takes it all on the final. The game is still on but India would require a miracle to win over Australia as wickets would not be an issue when they play safe. Given a chance, Australian lower order can bat well. India seems to be one of the unluckiest team when it comes to winning the knock outs against australia.
