Yes, Afghanistan team came in the pitch for batting because they gave a opportunity to India team for bowl first in the pitch. Afghanistan repeating same mistake as they decided to take first batting in previous match against Bangladesh team. Their performance was not highly good and they set low and small target. Perhaps this time, they have any strategy and fully prepared themselves for this match to get victory but we are all know that India has a strong and dangerous team on cricket world. Afghanistan made 50 runs by playing 10 overs and also they lost Ibrahim Zardan after he making 22 scores. Hopefully, both teams give a challenging time to each other and India has lot of chance to win this match but anything can happen in cricket.
I don't think Afghanistan made the wrong decision to bat first, the Delhi pitch is a good batting pitch. What I am curious to see is whether they can give a good target to India. They have already lost two wickets, Gurbaz got out because of a clever catch taken by Thakur. The current run rate is below 5 which is bad on a batting track. They need to up their tempo otherwise they won't be able to get a decent score on the scoreboard. I believe anything above 280 by Afghanistan will not be that easy to chase for the Indian batters.
