After that, they have lost six wickets trying to get 34 runs. That is just not good enough from them. And they cannot just go ahead and blame the umpires for their loss. Even if the decisions that were taken by the umpires actually were really bad still there is no excuse for them to actually lose six wickets in 34 runs.

Yeah.. I remember the world cup of 1999. That one was played in England, and the pitches offered zero support for the spinners. And Sri Lankan batsmen struggled against opposition seamers. They were the defending champions, but failed even to get to the semi-final stage. And I agree with you on Mahela and Dilshan. They were quality players back then.
