The final match of the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier will be played tomorrow, when the Dutch will take on Sri Lanka. When the last time these two teams met, the match was extremely close. Netherlands had the upper hand most of the time, but in the end they floundered the opportunity and Sri Lanka won the match by a narrow margin of 21 runs. Obviously Netherlands would be looking for revenge and the prospect of becoming the champions in ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier would be an unimaginable outcome for them (as well as the ICC).
To be honest, I did not even know that their team exists before this world cup qualifiers. The way they played in this WC qualifiers is remarkable and even if they lose the final with Srilanka (as Srilanka is a better team), this should not hurt their confidence. They have already achieved the best to reach the world cup.Really, it is not easy to believe that the Netherlands is moving ahead in the world Cup while the well-known teams like West Indies and Zimbabwe failed to do so.
