so is like adding more power to the mining account right? I am currently mining with a single 335 Mh block erupter on this, but going nowhere since it is way too damn slow for the difficulty of the bitcoin right now.

Yep but there is no need. If you don't have extra coins please keep them. Either hold onto them or trade them for Bitcoins/Litecoins/Dogecoins/ETC.
