I do not think there will be a bubble in 2015. The price may go to $350, but not much higher. There is no catalyst for price rise extremely.

you must be new here

(2444 CNY = $385 in china right now, no signs of slowing down)

Exactly. BTC is crazy, it's just its nature Cheesy

Hyena, its a very early call but I have similar feelings in my guts. there will be a few shakeouts on the way however. The bull will try to shake people off.

Yes it is early, I agree. And that's why this thread has value. When it has become obvious that we are having the new ATH anyone could make such a thread and it would not be so fun any more Cheesy

If this is a bubble then this must be a very slow one Smiley. Looks to me more like some "organic growth" after a couple of good news.

when exactly does a bubble begin? it's definitely not when a new ATH is claimed. with this topic I tried to capture the beginning of this bubble as early as possible. it makes totally sense that the growth right now is barely parabolic. give it a couple of more weeks and this topic will become more obviously relevant.

For a new ATH, it will probably be late next year. A bubble will burst. A new bull market is my favourite. We need a very long bull market.

Or not .. we are not  going anywhere most likely , people will just start selling and we will go down . I swear ... till now I see no apparent reason for this 60$ bump in the last previous days (short time)

You must have been living under a rock  Grin

and why is that ? feel free to explain to me , I just said my opinion , I may be right and I may be wrong , I came here in 2014 so I don't really have much knowledge in the "price" thing area but I say what I see and understand ,

it's most likely due to the bitcoin block halving that is comming closer and closer. people want to buy some coins before the price goes up more.

That doesn't make any sense to me because simply the halving block reward isn't happening soon , not soon at all ... It will be in next July so why the hell people will start buying now ?

Because if you wait till july you'll be too late.

This might be the last chance to buy below $300, it might no be, who knows? Most people will take their chances, the odds of it dropping below $300 are decreasing with each day, and even if it does, it might only be by $10 or so. Not worth the risk.

It may be $400 by tomorrow, who knows?

Sharing the same sentiment as you have. I believe that with the mix of different good news around bitcoin, the bubble won't go noticed just yet. Another week of green would really mean something everyone seems to be waiting. :v

I also think it is an organic growth this time. The price rise is fed by general adoption of bitcoin and constant good news flow.

Yes, I think that we need to hold our horses still a bit here. Announcing new bubble is still a bit to early. I would be very happy, if we would approach $400 and end up a year in this range.

This would be a great success, a sign of a complete recovery and something to build upon in the next, very important, halving year.

Calling a plateau @~$300. I don't think this is a bubble and I am quite sure we won't see one before 2016.

Weekly parabolic SAR just went into raging bull mode. We just broke 300$ psychological barrier. We have been in green 6 weeks in a row. I declare this the official start of the 2015 Shit-Hits-the-Fan Bubble. Next stop: Canis Majoris.

I will join the program and the bullish sentiment for this month
Let's see how far it can go  Cheesy

Block-halving, Euro-approval of the phenomenom Bitcoin ... those facts can trigger enough momentum to permit a new major rise in BTC-price. Also, know that the MtGox-catastrophy is gradually fading from 'public' memory, thus possibly reducing distrust in cryptocurrencies.
