Maybe the mail just sits in DHL warehouse for days until they get a full freight container to send. That could explain the high variance in delivery times.

Well i am not sure but i ordered a few weeks back an anker 10 slot usb hub from english reseller
It took them almost 17 days to deliver to me
I could have done it in like 1 day, and i would have had a fun day with that as well
Have no clue why sometimes it takes 1 to 3 days or that it seems that thing travelled the whole world
For instance i send a letter last month to chile which took 5 days but the previous one is still not arrived after 11 years.
When i bought sticks from  menig it took more then 9 days to arrive dhl tracked postage.

Yxt send me a package not sure when, but it arrived sooner then i expected xD
I was allready preparing myself to ask Yxt when and if he was going to send me the items soon.

Just before i could post my question i heard someone ringing at the door and there it was

The sticks arrived  in a very handy small package.

After some fiddling with the nasty winusb drivers again the package is mining.

This far all seem to work perfect and to be honest this new ones look even better then the old

Got the miners today. There should be a warning about the cheaper delivery option two week delivery time or something.

Just to say that Monday I ordered and paid for over 100 ASICMiner Erupters from yxt (using bank transfer).  He despatched within 24 hours of the money hitting his account on Express service.  Within 24 hours the DHL delivery arrived.  Germany - UK.  Great service!   

yxt - are you able to resell the blades or just erupters??

As soon as the ordering procedure goes public, there's going to be an update by yxt and a statement on the first page of this thread. I believe he's also going to inform everyone who has previously ordered the sticks at 0.99BTC (and more) that they're eligible to order the same amount at the price of 0.1BTC. You'll just have to wait until he receives the units from friedcat. yxt isn't doing preorders, he only opens the order book when he actually has the items in stock!

But how do you need to let him know you are interested in the promo? Did you send him something for this? Or is that information not know yet?

I believe yxt is going to receive the sticks not before the end of the following week (Ordering at friedcat on August 11 + max. 7 days transit/shipping = 18 August). As soon as he's got them, he'll proceed with the promo shipments and regular shipments.

Does this mean you will have more info on the promo soon? Or just that they have sticks in stock again?

DHL is VERY slow for International shipments, I'm receiving parcels from France within 3-4 days - simple Airmail with tracking.

For DHL this time needed just to think about "what we need to do".

Last shipment - about week they hold parcel in Germany, plus same time will be for final destination.

I don't speak about errors in tracking information on DHL web page,
I don't speak about friendly DHL personal - when calling local DHL office "where is my parcel Nr XXX" - SORRY, WE HAVE INFO ONLY ABOUT "DHL EXPRESS" PARCELS your parcel is not express.
they do best that they can.


So I prefer Airmail option in asicminer-shop.de, but probably this is technically impossible

Well i think yxt mean by that those 1000 are send to large group buyers who had sold them to other people like me.

So when they arive at those persons and you bought from them you can order the amount they sold you by those persons.
I think the deal is that these persons contact you for that amount of sticks and after you paid them you get them.

to be honest my experience with such group buys are ok as long as nothing happens or goes wrong.

If you are unlucky you might end up like me having to almost beg for someone to answer and/or solve the issue

So now almost 5 weeks later its finally in the end fase because yxt jumped in and took over the rma request.

At present i am awaiting 2 usb erupter replacement sticks and since i had some extra cash ordered a few extra from yxt to make up the losses.
I am a small miner so sending the items back costs postage and the loss of mining early while the diffculty rises like mad.

I still feel played with on this issue regardless what some people say or think, i probably will not participate in another group buy anytime soon unless i do that group buy myself. 

Anyway hopefully sooner then later i see the postal service deliver the items at my door.
