I thought this was for whether cryptsy should have it's own coin Sad
anyway, is that blake thing still minable with an i5? coz that diff look outray.

I've been finding a couple a day with my three AMD FX-8350s.  I found that the CPUminer works much better than the one built into the client.  Also, I'm purposely using 256 threads on my 8 core cpus with the "-t 256" argument in the cpuminer.  I do not know why but it seems to give me higher khashes/s.  Right now I'm consistently over 12000kH/s.

The difficulty has dropped some.  It seems to adjust according to the hashing power of the network.

The current difficulty is:

{
"blocks" : 4189,
"currentblocksize" : 1000,
"currentblocktx" : 0,
"difficulty" : 61748.28207893,
"errors" : "",
"generate" : false,
"genproclimit" : -1,
"hashespersec" : 0,
"pooledtx" : 0,
"testnet" : false
}

I'm just gonna take that as productive feedback I think Smiley

Just casting my vote for shitcoin  Grin

You need to be wary as some of the devs for the coins in your list have multiple sockpuppets cough* cloudcoin *cough

Kingcoin is nothing short of a scam I mined for almost the first 24 hours so getting it listed will be good for me, but I feel compelled to warn others.

1> Kingcoin was launched by a shill account, possibly Kalimankudenku. That guy also has a scam accusation thread against him.
2> It was launched with supposedly unique algo which makes it CPU only. A cpuminer was also bundled with the package, but without a source code.
3>After some 14-15 hours the source of the cpuminer was realeased and after that gpuminers popped up. Apparently the ybcminer worked fine.
4>I tried the ybc miner with the relevant settings (details were posted in the thread by helpful posters) and within half an hour mined a block. After that I turned it off.

It looks like the developer released the coin as cpu only without cpuminer source so that he can keep on mining with gpus at the start when difficulty was low and rewards were high.

Any chance for I0Coin?

Its current hashrate is about 138TH/s since it's merged mined with bitcoin. I bet it's the highest for coins not listed in cryptsy!
