Update, it's not just our servers, it's our whole hosing provider that's being attacked. Just got an email from them last night.

They are upgrading their networking now to prevent less downtime.

The pool communication issue seems to be MASSIVE spikes in network traffic. Enough to flood the available bandwidth (and we have WAY more than needed for a 2+ TH pool).

Why anyone would syn flood our small pool is beyond me, but the logs and iftop show just that.

Might see a few connection drops while I clean out the database... clearing out old hashrates is time consuming.

Nothing in the logs, and the only issues that I have noticed is the litecoin network attacks hogging up processor cycles.

I'm keeping an eye on it though.

UPDATE: Restarted the pool server, should be back shortly.

Must...reclaim...hashes!
We're dying on this one.  Sad
I know. its been 14 days since our last block.

Sadly, I think part of the issue was the BIP6 client breaking our wallet and blockchain. I'm fairly certain that possible generations were lost by the client bugging out. That said, everything is back as it should be and hopefully we will have a block soon.

I was hoping to come back from my vacation and see some blocks, but it looks like my bad luck on vacation carried over here as well.
i guess miners cant go on vacation. i went and lost over 50% of my hashing.

IS simplecoin planning on upgrading to bip30 anytime soon https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/security-update-duplicate-transaction-vulnerability-fix-67738 ? not really sure if it makes a difference for our size but going forward it should help i guess.

We are currently on the latest client 6.0rc2 and will continue to support the latest and majority bitcoin protocol.

I'm currently writing a custom *coin server, as psj/pushpool development seems to have stopped.

Shows how much i know Smiley.

That sounds awesome. Again, thanks for all your hard work.
