Apparently, most people will still want to wait for the next fork to be over before they delve hugely into any altcoin for now.

It still seems pretty bleak and just few altcoins are experiencing some little bump which still does not mean they will not come back down before the next fork. I guess we just have to keep waiting to see how the event unfolds.

It most definitely will. Forks has always been one of the low trend driving factor for alts. However, people gradually will start seeing that these forks are not really much worth it and I will rather just hold my BTC a bit and then buy into alts maybe a day before the fork, cause that seems to me like a better way to make profit when I am not even sure what the outcome of the fork would end up being like just like BTG.

It is hitting more or less the same price as September 30th. Here is the graph is the last thirty days:

It is still far from its all time highest reached on September 17th. If you bought in the middle of October, I would personally sell, OKcash is good for short term investment but very volatile and unpredictable.
Spikes are so sudden lately, even more than Bitcoin, does not look too healthy IMO.

I see the price in okcash have a big gap between the other exchanges and I think many people is trying to make profit from this and they will buy and sell and maybe they will doing arbitrage. I only hope that the price will increase more so I can sell my btc to make profit but if there is any good price to buy, then I think I will buy more bitcoin.

Yep the full effect of the fork losing its power will be within 24 hours. Alt coins right way will steadly rise. BTC will correct itself anywhere between 4500-5000. It’s inevitable. People only got into BTC during the pre fork to accumulate free BTG. That’s all.

Let' see then. I am not that convinced investors are that interested into Bitcoin Gold, maybe they just anticipate good things after Segwit in November.
Still I agree that a correction is expected, and it is already happening actually:
price moved from 6k1 to 5k6, which was not too surprising.
