just checking if that is how you insert image.

will edit in a few minutes

Edit Added Photo :

If anybody is interested, PM or put your price on public.

Stamps 1840 Queen Victoria II

there are way more, but those are the only one i recall from 1840.
Try to include those pictures of the stamps on the main post so you can get more interest. The stamps look really interesting and old, they are probably worth something. Maybe  I will come later and make an offer. Good luck with the sale !  Smiley

the defect ones will have a good market value i think. those defect stamps seems to be sold for thousands on ebay

The stamps I see are not Victorian but Elizabeth 11 Machin  pre-decimal and decimal. None of them are rare or of great value.

i might be wrong, but they stopped at 4D and then Arnold came in and all the stamps were destroyed / changed.
. the one i posted is a 6D. did some research but none corresponding that kind of 6D in neither victoria or elizabeth time.

also some dont have any P or D even.

these are nice collection of old stamps, on which way you are going to sell them at any fixed price or going to auction for them?

i would rather prefer a proposal for all of them or one by one.

( the 13 one was auctioned once in 1950 or somewhere  around for 2000uk pounds but then never heard of again)

thats interesting but i did not found any info online to support what you said  Embarrassed

i believe you should keep then rather than selling them. the two defects one might be priceless

times are rough.. very rough

yes i did not find any info either. granpa also said to look at the 10, the 0 is not right, it is slightly bent. (i dont know the proper english word for it) like its not 10 straight. but bended or curved or like pushed on a side.. i dont know the english word buddy, sorry.

yes i understand, hope you get a good price for it.. since there are no info about them nor people have not heard about them, you might be into something very good here.. dont sell them out for peanuts Wink

the 13 and the 10 are actually defects that we removed a week after their apparition and many people did not get the chance to buy them nor were they recognised. same story at the blue penny but less worthy of course. [[ not that its worthless, but less that 1.5m usd lol]]

never heard of anyone selling any of those.

goodluck OP

Agreed.

i asked my granpa about it since i could not find any info about them online.
he said he know only the 13 defect and the 10 defect ( the 13 one was auctioned once in 1950 or somewhere  around for 2000uk pounds but then never heard of again), the rest of them he has never saw any.
