Hey, the servers are up, good job simplecoin!
And it's not just us, deepbit is down too. 
Possibly... or just a benefit for someone who wants the site unavailable. I'd like to think the other pool operators are stand-up guys, so I'd assume it's just some script-kiddie getting their kicks.
They don't want pools running where they can't cheat, because those pools are generating blocks they can't take advantage of.
What purpose does an attack have for a cheater?
When the server is down i might switch the pool...no big deal for a miner.

They went after both servers. the main * backup, which are hosted on different machines and ip routes.
Working on it now, both servers got hammered. Bitcoin is rebuilding the dbs now, so we have to wait on that. I'll let you know the moment it's available.

What payouts again? Cause, really, either I am not understanding it or the stats say:

Your dns should have updated by now making them the same address. If you like, you can try backup.simplecoin.us (that was the original server).
