Crypto4jan, I don't think it makes sense to manually send coins to people who are staking.

It already gives % interest now. Sure that doesn't reward more for being more active staker(unless you count compound interest),
but in the future I can make the staking reward be a fixed number of coins per block to reward more active stakers.
Hi Cinnicoin,

Thank you that you take part of the discussion. It is not my intention to send manually but with a script.
By VPN coin that was also the case that they lookt at you wallet online and with a script a got then extra reward being online.
If we put some randomnes into that it can be very intresting to keep your wallets online.
The STK has to be donated from STK big holders get. So we need a fund for the extra stake and I donate 1500 STK for a start if we create this script for StakeCoin.

But your sugestion for a "partly" fixed number of blockreward is also a nice option. Is that alraidy done for some currency?
It is also more in the filosophy of "StakeCoin" the create a feature like that if think now.
Then you can see staking as a kind of mining and that attract maybe new people for this currency.
With a wallet online 24/7 you have then many change to win extra reward.
I think that it a good first start for future development. We keep the script-lottery in mind and go for your idea!
I can tweet this when it is ready.

No it's not a new feature.
So stakecoin did not invent it or anything.
It has been done by like 100 coins. So it's not a big deal.
But it has the idea that you are wanting, about rewarding those who stake frequently more than people who stake not frequently.

But, hard forks should be avoided so if i was going to add this then it would need to be with other things that need a hard fork too to package them in one.
So an update including this would be months away.
Ok that is clear and good for community to know what they can expect in the future it creates value and trust.
Is it really necessary a hard-fork for this?
It can also have a lotto espect if we want that to include.
A random number of a block get more reward per day.
Is it also posible to monitor the wallet online-time with the API of the Block Exporer and use that for extra rewards?
With a seperate script it is posible but can it be coded into wallet clients?

Some other questions I want to ask you here:
- can you create a StakeCoin... website with some info we want to share?
- Is twitter @StakeCoin from you?

Edit: I realy like if you can add "setstakesplitthreshold" (send you the info by PM)
I have now two weeks 24/7 a 8k STK wallet online and grows rapitly.
I merged some blocks into a new block: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/stk/block.dws?258127.htm
I think a block of 1 STK must not be splited after getting a PoS-Stake.

A tip for the community to split out coins over more wallets and use then dumpprivkey and create a dedicated wallet with importprivkey the extra addresses.
For blockexplorer the rich list gives more distribution and you can controll seperate addresses with the seperate wallets.
So not create extra addresses into one wallet but use importprivkey from several wallets.
You get then this:

And the 5 wallet addresses I fill from the start wallet.
Check this block: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/stk/block.dws?258122.htm
And this one: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/stk/block.dws?258121.htm

The resuld

My donation wallet is also active but very fragmeted and I know CinniCoin can easy implement setstakesplitthreshold no fork needed for that.
I check how quick this wallet is fragmeted I thik 1 or two weeks.

Maybe Cinnicoinis is on holidays.
I see now 7 connections: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/stk/#!network
Keep on staking that is the way to survive.

Do not mix the two coins, please ! I've invested a lot of money in cinnicoin! Not in energycoin !
Stakecoin is separate coin. For me this is not an experiment. Thanks.
Yes I understand but I try hard to get more wallets online and it seems no success yet.
CinniCoin has PM me and he has to post here soon or send me PM.
A few days ago more than 10 nodes online and why stopped staking?
I thing I have a great plan and get no support then I know it is time to leave.
It is not an experiment but serious plans I presented to CinniCoin and some here in the topic.

I understand too ,  but many people here waiting for what he would say cinni dev for development , I think so.

This community has 10 days left to get more nodes online!
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/stk/#!network
Only 5 connections and when I go on my holidays then I turn of my PC's.
Maybe the network survive, this is a great developed currency technical but social StakeCoin is more dead then alive.
A VPS node cost about 10 $ per month so that is not much but it is not my call to arrange that.
CinniCoin if you are interested to cooperate with EnergyCoin then give us a sign that you want to work serious on the development.
Holders of STK can exchange some of their STK for ENRG with me if they wish but first I want to see a secure network after my holidays.

The idea of monitoring nodes online and give some reward is easy to create.
Stakecoin Blockchain Explorer has an API that we can use for that application.
Tagging wallets to users is also not very dificult to implement.
We need a simple website for StakeCoin where you can rigister your wallet address and then rest is simple.
Only the the top25 has to donate a large % of their Stake-reward to the Stake-fund for rewarding in time or just luck to get more people involved without much StakeCoin staking their wallets.
If we have 50 nodes online then we can enter easy an exchange.
For voting we can also give a reward if needed.

Good work man,thanks !
Now wait what Cinni says.
I know he wants to cooperate but his reactions are not very quick sometimes.
If more people like this idea't just post that then it convienced Cinni to make the next steps.

Yes, I like . It is better to have some development.

i like any development better than none, sound like a competition would attract people which is what we need - i'd still like to hear more from cinnicoin on if he is still working on anything for the coin?
i believe cinncoin contacted exchanges to get stakecoin added but didn't get a response - i think we need to work harder on getting more exchanges - i still believe cinnicoin has a chance with the exchanges that still have cinnicoin listed

Hi I did an analyses how muck STK was online the past 2 weeks since I see mayself as "unofficial" community mannager.
Class 0 is now online the
Class 1 was online the past 3 days
Class 2 was online the past 2 weeks
More than 50% of all the StakeCoin was online the past 3 days so that is very good!
We need more nodes online 24/7 so if you can stake just stake your coins. The wallet takes not much resources from your PC.

My developer can create a tool that monitors a wallet 24/7 online and the idea is to reward that wallets with extra stake.
The coins have to come from the top of the rich list and go to "poor" STK-holders by lotery of hours online.
It is a extra reward if you are a trusted node and in the Block Explorer we can tag your username and see on a webpage how much you extra earned.
See it as a game but we need a % the PoS reward from the top100 as donation.
I contribute the coins donated to me but we need 10 times more than that and have to create a protocol for this.

Let us discuss if this is a idea we can work on.
It can attract more people to go into StakeCoin and I combine this with some other plans I have with EnergyCoin.
The StakeCoin cooperation with EnergyCoin can create extra value for both currencies imo.

Thank you for your donation.
I sended CinniCoin today a proposol for some project he can develop for StakeCoin.
Yesterday CinniCoin sended me some donation, thanks for that, I was not aware this donation came from him (#2) on the richlist.
My developer of EnergyCoin created a lightweight wallet for Raspberry-PI and I discussed with him the plans for cooperation with StakeCoin and maybe some other PoS-coins.
His sugestion was to make a image for Raspberry-PI with StakeCoin and EnergyCoin wallet instaled.
If StakeCoin community think this is good plan then we can work that out.
The Raspberry-PI is good for the network and I want to buy then some extra StakeCoin for EnergyCoin if you let them stake on your Raspberry-PI.
More development is posible after that.

If nobody wants to help and donate, let stakecoin die , swallow losses and move forward. Cool
For example number 3 from rich list?  https://chainz.cryptoid.info/stk/address.dws?4281.htm
I guess that reads this thread.
It is #2 now with 20k of STK POS reward the past days.
Is there also a not 64bit windows wallet available?
I can't run stakecoin on my 32 W7 PC.
