I just want to know if there are any hardware specifications for FORGING.. Also, my wallet says Forging is DISABLED. I'd appreciate help on how to enable this.

Forging is like mining in POW to generate new coins. You need to gain enough vote weight to become a forger, run a special node and then you can mint new coins like 5 every 15 minutes or so.

that's my first post on the forum. I'm pretty new fish in this coin ocean. Buying and selling bitcoin since 5 weeks.

Now I have started to read more and more about all other coins. One of my decision to invest was RISE. Just sent my rise coins to rise wallet and there is an option of 'forging'. Here is my first question on this forum > what is 'forging' and what will be the result of it? Is there any1 who could explain it to the newbie?

Thanks for your Info. I don't like to sue someone, I prefer to get my Coins. I'm an Altcoin Hodler and I have some Coins that paid out very well with some patience. I think Rise could be one of these the next years too.
As I said earlier, they're maybe a bit chaotic, but they don't want to scam us.
So I'm waiting for a reply of my Ticket...

I don't think it will go up if Bitcoin continues to decline. Really difficult to tell where all this will go in the next few weeks.

Yes, Looking  good so far. Looks like its consolidating after bullish run. Might make new highs within a week or two ! Good luck all !

RISE will be hitting new all time highs every month now. Its a great opportunity for short term trading as price fluctuates a lot between days

There are chances to see Rise at new all time high after seeing the progress on trading platforms. I use transactions plus volume to make any guess about any project and can say it looks very good at the moment as momentum is being built continuously. I also picked after this rise started and market turned into green.

I received my coins back today. I'm glad they kept their word after all the confusion. I didn't hear anybody else about getting their coins back eventually, so I thought it's only fair to post about it as well.

As far as I know, there is no deadline for submitting a ticket for this. The deadline you're talking about was the deadline to move your coins to Bittrex to get included in the swap.

If you missed the swap and your coins are still on the old network, you can still submit a ticket at https://support.rise.vision/portal/home

I submitted a ticket 2-3 weeks ago and received instructions how to get my coins back yesterday. I'm going to be included in the next payout, so I'm waiting for that. I've seen a lot of people come in and submit tickets after I did, so the queue is probably pretty long. Expect some time for your ticket to be handled, but they're working on it.

What will happen to those tickets who missed the deadline (July 15, 2017) according to Rise network swap announcement? There may be some people still not aware about the previous swap. Are you going to process their tickets?

We are working through the tickets and once you are validated/verified correctly you will have your coins returned to the new wallets.
Your coins are sitting on the old network, we have migrated to a better faster Mainnet more secure mainnet.
