Hi @TechPriest, good question.  Rise is based on a DPoS system (Delegated Proof of Stake). It functions through a series of rounds. Rounds consist of 101 individual blocks. Each block contains transactions that need confirmation and verification on the blockchain. Each of the 101 active delegates are randomly assigned 1 block within the round to forge and they receive Rise rewards for securing the network that way. A full cycle round takes 17 minutes, which is known as 'round time'.

It means that after 17 minutes new delegates is elected by some algorythm?

No, it just means after 17 minutes all 101 active delegates have forged a block, and it starts over again. These 101 active Delegates are elected through the votes from community Rise holders. The Delegates who are still outside of the top 101 are called 'standby' Delegates. The 'standby delegates' can at any time take the spot of any of the current 101 active delegates if they acquire enough vote weight to do so.

Any thoughts on the issue I mentioned with Yobit RISE withdrawals? Do they need to update their wallet or what?

Hi Epimetheus, I don't know why Yobit withdrawals aren't working for you. They haven't reported any issues to the Rise team. Yobit has the responsibility to keep the wallet online and functioning for their customers. We will shoot them an email and ask what is going on. As it could be an isolated incident I recommend that you open a support ticket with them as well (if you haven't done so already) and hopefully they will resolve the issue.
Thanks. I'd appreciate the e-mail and I did indeed open a ticket. No response yet. Patiently waiting.

Hello community!

What does it mean "round time" ? In Rise it's 17 minutes. It something for delegates?

Why can't I withdraw RISE from Yobit? Anyone having similar issues?

Yobit is the worst exchange around, i remember also many other users on bata coin that were having similar issues and the dev couldnt do anything, i dunno if and how they solved it.
The OP says it is traded at Yobit exchange so I bought a few RISE coins there and now I'd like to withdraw them. They are stuck with 0 confirmations. Not showing up on the blockchain either. Do they need a wallet update or what?

Glad I didn't buy more Smiley what a mess.

Breaking News, Coming directly from JUSTIN
Justin Donnaruma (jdr0dn3y) Testify=

Steven Remington (scifi.rem) - Marketing / Co-Founder and they both bring Cormac Lucking (Alty) - Project Manager was recruiting Justin Donnaruma (jdr0dn3y) to be the CEO and Lead Developer of RISE
Initially both Steven Remington and Cormac Lucking only want to pump and dump the coin. they planned this all along from the begining. Justin Donnaruma objected, he want to use all the ICO funding for Rise development purely for Rise Development. Then after finish the ICO both Steven Remington and Cormac Lucking dont agree and forcing Justin Donnaruma with their plan to split the funding then they will fund the project as needed by Justin. 2 against 1.

the ICO funding was split directly, these are the share:
from 100%= 20% goes to Development, 80% goes team
from 80% go to team = 10% go to Shazad Boota - Advisor https://www.linkedin.com/in/shazadboota, and 30% Given to Justin, 30% Steven, 30% Cormac

Justin Donnaruma (jdr0dn3y) immediately working as he can in his capacity, used all the funding for development, offices for working, sallary and etc. The 20% fund is not enough for that initial setup, Justin even use all his own shares for it. Steven Remington and Cormac Lucking both promising to reimburse as he promise before to fund the project, but they lie. The help from both Steven Remington and Cormac Lucking never came, especially not from Cormac.
Steven Remington and Cormac Lucking already used up all their ICO Split to other things. (Justin immediately knew he became the scapegoat).
Justin hold this him self as long as he can, but there is unrest in his heart, especially he uses all his shares up for this project. He immediately think how to fund Nathan and Richard that is real working for Rise, office and etc. That is impossible, he must sell his Don't Panic Consulting services to fund Rise Development, but will not last long, Justin made heavy decision that Rise will be the 2nd if not 3th priority in project completion.

Justin also TESTIFY, the Rise Vision Foundation is never build, Steven Remington and Cormac Lucking lie again, the foundation never exist.
also the reason why the forum, website and etc cant be fix from the beginning is because Steven Remington and Cormac Lucking use outsource.

Dev Team - Go Forward Plan
As you all probably have assumed, we have encountered numerous issues

this is what happen, and the truth.
ask Steven Remington and Cormac Lucking to clarify this and show the Rise Vision Foundation legality papers

you should just see how much had been improved since the time they were down to almost 200 satoshis. its going to be a hell of a ride from now on, there is no where else to go but up. so if you want to ride all way up, its this time that you need to get into rise.

dude, there is no progress, not at all, this is just pump and dump coin

A uselessly spent year, there is no profit from investing in this project. Just like VOX, a very unsuccessful investment.
