The Devs are sticking it out. I bought it at ICO and am way down myself but what's the positive thing to do ? Stick it out.
Look what happened to TX yesterday. It can happen here too if the Devs get it together and press forward. What can we lose at this point ?
Stay positive. Get some Assets going on the block-chain. Get some tip bots going in Slack and what is happening for Waves can happen for Rise.

actually ARK is legit and has rewritten the code base and can push 200tx per block at 8s no problem. If Rise was smart they would recode using an ARK fork, at least this way in the future they will have access to native SmartBridge features.

I did not read in detail the technical details of your project, so I may be wrong and I will be happy if you do it all much better.
