you didn't read properly masternode tutorial ... don't start node with right click and "start alias" - go to debug console and enter "startmasternode alias localwallet {your_alias}" - it worked for me, MN is running ...
Btw. really like this project, one of most interesting coins this year, looking forward, price is still low, time to buy, more, at least i'm going to do that

Watchout for this coin. Ive see them "Masternode Setup.dotx" on github and there was a line "To see if everything works type “cottoncoin-cli_mn1.shmnsync status” ". yea.. COTTONCOIN. Same devs ? or just copy-paste masternode setup? -_-
