Hey everyone I am still around and hope to become a lot more active now that I'm settled in with my personal life.
The hashrate for the second time reached 1GH, and we have surpassed the 1,000,000 Block! http://csc.blockexp.info/block/719a1a2eb97193dc658e1c9bad7d0d5def05445341b56690fea8177feb689549
Glad to see some of the original supporters are still around, and new ones coming along!

My first actions are going to be to clean up the website, the first post in the thread and barrage through all the PM's iv'e got, if there is anything else that needs attending to please let me know!

@GoldSeal I appreciate everything you do, and always will!

On a side note: In two/three days (depending on where you live) CasinoCoin will be exactly two years old and counting!

Any plans for this coin in the near future? Doesnt seem to be much interest when you look at price and hashrate, though it is a really good coin with heaps of potential.

As a community, we should discuss what type of features you guys would like to see. In general, we've refrained from making any large changes since last summer in an effort to build some stability in the coin.

WOW it's lovely to see a coin that has lasted so long and congrats on the DEV coming back and I totally understand what it's like to have to juggle a life outside of the Net and run a coin.  Smiley I will have to re open an account on cryptsy I guess.

Good to have you back! I'm currently trying to get bitraise.me up and running again. Had some ssl issues and the stratum isn't working very well.

Hey, you guys seen our hashrate lately? We're finally up above 1GH. Wink

http://www.coinwarz.com/network-hashrate-charts/casinocoin-network-hashrate-chart

It's also worth announcing that Casinocoin has surpassed minting 50% of all the coins that will ever exist. Approximately 32,673,145 CSC are now in circulation out of the possible 63m that will ever exist. Wink

This leaves us with all coins being minted within approximately +2.9 years.

Good just watching the market moving a lot recently, probably hit CSC soon Wink

Yeah it's been picking up. Had a nice drift up from 200 to 350. I'd like to see it break above 700 with a commensurate rise in BTC as well. However, I don't know if Greece is enough to float all the alts right now.

Is there still a forum for this coin? The link to the forum off the CSC Homepage http://forums.casinocoin.org/ is down?

I don't think that was ever really used.

Thanks for at least replying Smiley

Hello,

Casinocoin added to Hashnova Mining Pool for those that are interested.

https://pool.hashnova.com/pools/Casinocoin/CSC/

Enjoy!

Are there any parameters I can use to set static difficulty for my workers? I get a lot of rejects after one of my workers starts mining and vardiff starts raising the diff.

cheers

Hope you dont mind me asking, are you using different workers for each unit you are connected with? As what I can see i only see you using one worker. If you have more than one, please try to use more than one worker, and the rejects will go away, until a solution is in place. You can have as many workers you need, ther are no limit.

If you are still havin trouble after trying that,  let me know and i can setup a port for you with a static diff, hardcoded.

Cheers.

Hi,

I am running the same worker on 2 x devices. The only way around this would be to run a different miner (ie changing drivers for the different COM ports and launching 2 different processes) which is a pain.

Thats fine, I'll just keep running the 1 mining instance for now Smiley

p.s. I did manage to split the 2 miners by running 2 instances of bfgminer but my reject rate goes up very quickly with the pool dying within a couple of minutes.

Firstly thanks for running on my pool.

I am currently working on a setting to set a difficulty of choice, but have trouble getting it to run smoothly.
