The good news is that i also got it running with a software opengl renderer for older or not supported graphics hardware including Virtual Machines. The rendering is a bit slower but i have the wallet now fully functional in a Windows 10 VM.

Yay! Good job!!! Cheesy

Btw, I will offer a 200k bounty personally to anyone that recovers 3m or more coins from cryptsy. No questions asked. Pm me if you can get the coins back. I want to see people who were screwed by them get their coins back.

Everything was/is syncing properly. Old wallet was working fine as well. The only issue is the graphics do not appear.
Hi.
This all sounds to be more like QtQuick issue rather than anything permission-related. Good news is that i have just tried running Wallet installed via installer and it does not show Qml controls as well! (my machine is a virtual machine with win7) Bad news so far is that i dunno how to resolve the issue but stay tuned Wink
Ok seems we found the problem. Older machines or OS could cause the issue. We now use Qt Quick for all those nice GUI features but that causes the wallet to only work properly on OpenGL versions of 2.0 and above. See if you can upgrade your graphics driver as that solved the issue for others. You can use OpenGL Viewer to check your version http://download.cnet.com/OpenGL-Extensions-Viewer/3000-18487_4-34442.html

Did this issue ever get resolved? I just tried using CasinoCoin 2.0.1.0 (finally) in a brand new Windows 10 VM and it is missing the graphics. Sad

Have you checked your OpenGL version? As you are running your windows inside a VM you might be running into the same graphics driver issue .....

When the WalletServer and Mobile Clients are done (still planned for Q1) i will create a new lightweight desktop wallet that does not need to run its own blockchain based on the same WalletServer. I will make sure that client will run on all desktops including windows 10 and OSX. You will probabbly also able to import your current desktop wallets into the new mobile clients as the server uses the same wallet architecture.

Not good if you can't run the latest version of CSC inside a clean VM.... I am inclined to fork CSC and update it with the latest code from LTC...if only I had the time. If the direction of CSC continues like it is (requiring specific graphic drivers, etc) then maybe I will find the time.

For those who do not want/like installers here is a version of the latest CSC client (2.0.1.0) without the installer:
https://mega.nz/#!3tZXHDoC!S4ZASxCIlPfbx9KvgmlCRCk-TG2Hn3jqOG0jAVzL8fw

Version 1.3.0.0 without graphic driver issues:
https://mega.nz/#!K5xXWIYI!0mSiGSjMwF9vPsz1ZwMRpGgds6CpT-_ivq_nxP2-8k4
I will shortly release a new 2.1.0.0 version of the wallet. I upgraded to Qt 5.6 and also moved to Boost 1.60 due to speed and compiler issues with older versions. Windows XP will be desupported from this version onwards as its also no longer supported by Microsoft and Boost. The good news is that i also got it running with a software opengl renderer for older or not supported graphics hardware including Virtual Machines. The rendering is a bit slower but i have the wallet now fully functional in a Windows 10 VM.

I also created a wiki page describing the complete process of building the wallet on Windows, a Linux version will also follow:

Ajochems, maybe You should send also a support ticket. Your name is all over the source code in github and also in Google Play Store. They haven't listed CSC again. https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Home/Voting But the problem is now we need 5M DOT's to get listed, it's about 0.6-0.7 btc...

Would be better to spend 0.5 BTC to get Yobit to add it within 1 business day (so they state) than pay more to just to get added to a voting list at Cryptopia IMHO.

Agree! But what worries me is that we have no quarantee with these guys. If can get a lot of contributors, then I'm in. At the same time I have feeling that we wont get CSC to any bigger exchanges at the moment and just have to wait and hope affiliate program launch will bring bigger marketcap, volume and attention.

I just sent a support ticket into cryptopia to have casinocoin re-added to the voting list. I provided links to github, the thread, and indicated that I was goldseal and they could contact me on Bitcointalk if they need proof that I am a developer for the coin. Let's see what happens.

The last information about the amount CSC Cryptsy has. Let's see, will they move these coins... But I think they may have more...

Do you have the addresses Crypsy owns? Would be interesting to see how much they have.

The problem is they change all the time. you could try depositing a coin and following the transaction to see where it lands. Maybe with a bit of luck you'll see it hit a cold wallet that has a large balance.

My most recent withdrawal came from this address:

http://csc.blockexp.info/address/CUYPXyBUD4fdDT4amZkbVNyi3sJXNkrYJa

Looks like they are still sitting there, lol.  In the grand scheme of things, that QTY won't be THAT big of a dump (assuming that is their only wallet).
It is not the only one, we know of 1 person with 1mln coins in cryptsy so we really hope those get out there one day and get returned to their rightful owner.

I know another guy with 340k that was trapped in there.

BTW - on a side note - in August/September, I was able to get a friend's 1m CSC out, but it took me having to shame Cryptsy publicly for almost a week encouraging people to contact Silver Law Group before Mullick contacted me and manually sent me his coins. The scary thing was it wasn't even my account and they never even tried to verify me in our communications. It was at that point, that it became apparent that Cryptsy probably didn't have enough CSC to cover their balances.

When I look at the rich list, I can easily identify more than half of the holders in the top 50. Most in the top 27. Unless Cryptsy is storing coins in 10k coin chunks in a lot of wallets, I just don't see any unexplained wallets that could add up to 3m coins. Maybe this is why Cryptsy didn't release the coins when they opened up other alts. This cryptsy fraud may run a lot deeper and darker than anyone imagines.

We should have a watch list on addresses known to be in Cryptsys possession. I post a few in this thread. Report those to Alcurex to hold the coins if they get deposited from those addresses.

Fortunately there is no where for them to sell the coins...the buy side on Alcurex is so small currently that they would only be able to get about 4.4 BTC out...perhaps people should take their buy orders out? Smiley

There was a recent dump of about 34K but that is too small to be cryptsy...but who knows.

Guys the cryptsy dump that will be happening will kill this coin. What steps are gonna stop this?

We're not on bittrex, so it's likely safe for now.

Sure but I can only imagine how many csc they have. Is there anything we can do about it. Its gonna cause havock. As soon as the affiliate program is launched they will dump and ruin it.

Is there any way to get around it?

By our best estimate Cryptsy had about 3m coins. However, we were only able to locate a wallet with about 300k belonging to them. Cryptsy may not actually have that many. It could have been a scam they were running.

Damn well I tell you now they won't. ..... they will be dumped there is no doubt about it. So the question I ask is how we mitigate the damage? If the affiliate scheme starts and this happens then daaaaamn  I'm honestly thinking of selling my coins now if no one can think of anything. I lost too much to that cryptsy shot already. It's not csc fault its the people behind that shit site.
