That's positive news coverage. Didn't see what the coin was though. Still, any positive news is good for crypto in general. Smiley

Yes, I like this news. The more crypto currency will enter into everyday life, the less likely it will be to crash.

Such cooperation becomes an advertisement to introduce the world of cryptocurrency to everyone in the world because with the cooperation of athletes and sponsors can make people curious and try to jump into the world of cryptocurrency to invest or trade. This is also good news to influence bitcoin prices in the market.

It's really cool that crypto-currencies are at this level. I already heard earlier that the football club of London Arsenal advertises some kind of project ICO. I suppose that there will be more such advertisements, both in sports and in other industries.

Thats awesome, but it will be more great if that athlete get paid with reliable cryptocurrency such as bitcoin or ethereum, not just some cryptocurrency just newly born and have no value. it has value but with really low volume.

The only news here is the fact that somehow this guy acccepted a shitcoin as payment.

I mean, he's getting paid with a shitcoin that no one has ever heard of, a coin that's been in a downtrend for over a month and has low volume, and while it saw a small spike in the price when the news was published, it seems like people quickly realized that 'onG.social' is nothing more than another vaporware. Chances are this coin is going to disappear before the sponsorship deal with the athlete is over.

Yep and they simply use Olympics to market their future products. You can't blame them for doing that and I guess they prob paid some part in fiat as well. I myself wouldn't accept some big payments in some shitcoins specially if I couldn't turn them into more valid coins with speed.

wow. It is very cool
pay an athlete to use cryptocurency, as long as there is approval from the athlete it is legitimate only
and this is also a new way to introduce bitcoin, through sports. to the world
and who knows, this trend will be followed by everyone later, if there is a race. and bitcoin as a gift. I think it will be very exciting  Grin

I also read it in news this morning and i think it is a great news for those who are involved in cryptos, especially when at a time there is a lot of rumors trying to paint a bad pictures about cryptocurrencies. We need more of those news to clear the air and move forward.
