it seems obvious that we are in the middle of downtrend
but saying that china will sell all coin is total crap, people are not  so easy discouraged especially when they live in such wild economic environment. In my opinion they will hold and after some time even more investors with fresh money will enter market.

Downtrend will last but not for long, because huge amount of money were already injected. It is quite possible that people behind this money  knew in advance what will happened at least some of them.

And lastly this market is no longer playground for people who can't afford christmas presents so they have to sell and cause correction , such theories are invalid and malicious. This is serious market now with  big boys , big  and smart .

Thank you, thank you, thank you for bringing some sense to this discussion. This is no longer a few people who got rich quick and bumped the market up to a 2 billion dollar market cap. Hell, even then (back in April) the market didn't fully correct to pre-bubble amounts and neither will this one. This is over $10 billion in market cap now.

$850 floor was tested again just now, bounced back up to $870 looks to test it again in the next 15 minutes.

That wall was eaten in 30 seconds.

This is an obvious down trend and we're headed into a weekend.  Anything is possible with Bitcoin, but odds not looking good for up, up, UP.
Short-term, perhaps.  I actually do like watching the markets do crazy things.  But I'm still bullish long-term.

Yeah, I don't see any reason to not be long term bullish but I do think it's likely we'll enter into a bear market for a time.  By Sunday evening, we should have a good indication of which way we're going.

Because weekends when no fiat can get in is a sure way to determine direction.  Huh

Right, because there is no fiat in the system now.  I guess that's why the price ALWAYS goes down on the weekend. Roll Eyes

I will bet him a full round coin if he wants. And if I win, I'll send you the equivalent of 2 beers in bitcoin.

The rise from $100 to $1000 was all due to China.

Without China we would be back at $100 within a week.

You know , for future reference.
I stopped betting so i can't say "Wanna bet?"

Actually we are in a downtrend, since the past 48 hours. This will likely will go lower, unless $850 floor proves strong just like it did the past week.

Too many bad news right now, no good news and media jumping in the Bitcoin bashing already.
