Are you sure you want to invest the money you have in Altcoins? why don't you let 0.2 btc remain in your wallet. if you want an altcoin investment why not use fiat or money generated from bounties? which altcoin is your investment target
most people will think like that. owning bitcoin is safe. however, sometimes they want to increase their risk by choosing altcoin which has a large enough potential to increase their assets. the advantage of an altcoin is that the price volatility is in the form of satoshi and dollars, whereas bitcoin is only volatile in dollars. so when the price of an altcoin rises, the price of its satoshi also rises. it makes many people exchange bitcoin into altcoin. however, ethereum is the main choice in this regard.
I'm a bit confuse with what you are saying really. I see the most reason why people are buying altcoins is that they don't want their full money to go with it, and that's call diversification of assets. 
Chainlink is best option to invest nowadays as we saw its growth. The current price is 4.5$ and it is predicted that it will go to 10$ within 2 months. So a great opportunity to make your investment double. I know some people who make 1000 dollars in just few days by investing in chainlink.
nothing is better than bitcoin or ethereum at the moment. if the OP does not want to hold bitcoin, I suggest ethereum. maybe there are some potential altcoins like you mentioned, but I feel that it's a pity to leave this opportunity, that the predicted price of bitcoin or ethereum could go up at any time.

If you still have funds to invest you could invest in either chainlink or bancor these look promising and plenty of good stuff lined up based on there road maps.Chainlink is best option to invest nowadays as we saw its growth. I think Populous (PPT) has lost a lot of value but still has potential, you should consider investing in it at very low prices currently.Not the XRP but ADA or CRO. Cheaper altcoins that will gove you amounting to thousands of it. This is however if he is willing to wait for weeks to a month before selling. CRO just dip a bit but I think it will continue to rise just when markets hit its support again. Between the two I will pick ADA if I have just to invest to one altcoin this is given that I am willing to wait for months to years.

Yes considering the bitcoin one should stay invested in it because for few months after the halving bitcoin has given positive returns. And investing in just 1 altcoin is not suitable too. So just be diversifying in 2-3 coins and rest should remain in bitcoin.
Both of them haven't looked good lately and I think Cardano has good potential in the near future or when the pump happens later, but if you are still doubtful then enough on old coins maybe for Litecoin or even Ethereum which I am very good for one altcoin to invested for the long term.
