If you are not a newbie in the crypto currency, you can clearly tell that it's a waste of money to invest here, this is just a pump and dump with nothing to offer, but unfortunately Onecoin will stay on,because many early investors are clearly making a profit here..

This could safely be said about 98% of altcoins.  They are mostly garbage, and I can't imagine who uses these things.

there's a big difference between alts and one coin. the way most alts themselves operate are transparent and functional. you can mine or stake them, there's a block explorer and they're on exchanges. sure, there's a scammy layer on top, but one coin is a scam from the ground up.

Onecoin is long time scam its ponzi and operated by those fucking fraudster who use the fame altcoin and name it sonthey can use it to their scheme and to attract newbies by their to good to be true profits, so for this though i don't think one coin is can be called a altcoin since onecoin don't listed on any exchange and it is very bad system and only attracting those people who didn't know so much about altcoins.

It's sad this sort of thing will continue to happen unhindered as the world of crypto currency is still relatively new to most people. It's a shame that the new comers have to deal with these sort of scams without any prior knowledge that these things exist here and that within itself is what allows these scams to continue to thrive. It's a shame to think some people will start their journey into the crypto currency world by getting scammed by some greedy d***heads and possibly turn right back around and forget about bitcoin all together.

Whenever some unknown coin gives amazing "stats" and promises huge returns, it is a scam. Not even listed on coinmarketcap lol.

IT'S A FUCKING SCAM
This could safely be said about 98% of altcoins.  They are mostly garbage, and I can't imagine who uses these things.  Think about how narrowly adopted bitcoin is, and then think about the insanely small number of people who are using something like BERN or 1337.  Probably about 20, and they're all working together to sucker you out of money.  And when one dies, another 10 pop up like Wack-a-mole.

100% scam.

A friend of mine who knows nothing about crypto told me he had invested into a cryptocurrency. A colleague of his had persuaded him and he went on to say it was called Onecoin.

He had deposited into some site and that site only lets him withdraw a very very small portion of the initial deposit and the site shows him a profit he can't withdraw.

Obviously he is never going to see a profit on that and would be very very lucky to get his initial investment back as that would depend on if more people deposit after him. A classic ponzi disguised as a cryptocurrency.

Anyhow, he is one of the best salesmen in his company and only put in a few hundred bucks so when I laughed at him he laughed with me when he realized it was a scam. I think of the hundred bucks or so he put in he could withdraw a couple bucks at best. Don't remember if he said how long it was since he deposited.

Next time use Google and include + scam in the name and read reviews and it will help you avoid the most blatant ones. I'd say never invest more than you can lose or don't invest into things you don't know or because somebody told you but I think that is a waste of time it is simply something that has to be learned through losing money the good news is that you will become more responsible with your money after being burned.

The certainty with Onecoin is that it will end badly as all these ponzi schemes eventually do with ordinary people losing all their money put in. A worrying thing is that I've had more real life friends ask me about Onecoin than about Bitcoin the last year or so which is very troubling because when Onecoin turn bad it will impact Bitcoins image negatively as well because the common man think it is a cryptocurrency like Bitcoin.

Onecoin is much like leocoin and both are MLM ponzis which artificially increases its price in their internal exchange platform as well as supply is in hand of them so they can have any amount of coins in the market. I think both of them are scam crypto ponzis.

1. Can you find it on coinmarketcap?
2. It is mineable?
3. What is so special about it?

Personally i think it is a huge scam. These type of "digital coins" are destroying the trust in the real crypto field.

Stay away from it!
