To all newbies, being careful with your methods of posting and watching properly before making posts or creating your own threads in this forum will help you alot as a newbie, otherwise, you'll just cause a serious effect on your account in the easiest way. It's okay to be free and open when making a post, but you sure want to be careful to avoid failing any rules of the forum. Over the years, the rules of the forum changed, and you need to change along with it.

Finally I also found my way here.

Been in the crypto world a while now but I am a lazy reader and writer, hope this will change being a member here.

You'll have to work on it, as it is part of the requirements as a crypto enthusiast and also, as one found in this forum.

You cannot bold the title of the thread you made also as possible avoid using a different colour if this is not necessary. Only use bolds when you are pointing something or a head start/indicator this is the title. You registered in the year 2018 you lost almost 4 years on the forum is the user that account looks like a new holder. Also, you told me to read the rules and plagiarism is one of the hardest punishments that might give you a ban. Upon checking on bpip has banned now and the account is just woke up last year and post from this year again.

My brain cannot follow your line of thinking. You seem to be cramming sentences at random.
And, why are you giving him advice when you already know he's been banned from the forum? Doesn't make any sense.
From perspective given the user advice when you very well that the user has been ban from the forum, actually is really bad from my perception, it's not bad  to render such, and in other ways, other newbies or whoever person that doesn't know or come across such information will also comprehend the ethics here without making a research.

I'm sorry but I'm actually done with this forum, I had been nuked by big players here.
To be more precise, forum is done with you. At least with this account, but I have no doubt that you will come back.

I agree, it is obvious that some of these newbie members are just looking for merits, and, I think, it is up to the established users to weed out the frauds from the genuine ones.
Tbh, nothing wrong with newbies wanting some merit, but as we could see from the OP example, many are just too eager to pretender that they know more than they do so they opt for plagiarizing. In reality, you can shit load of more merit just by asking the right questions and being genuinely interested in learning about bitcoin.  But these fools don't understand that, to their detriment.

I read the title and the OP and it smelled bad to me. We have a lot of threads opened by newbies in the B&H section that end up like this one. Good thing the OP wasn't given any merit.

In the end, even if he did get some merit, it wouldn't matter because he is already a goner.  Wink

It should be a general rule: brand new/newbie/junior member who opens a thread in the B&H praising the forum/the merit system/something specific to the forum better think about checking his post history for plagiarism, merit exchange or whatever before giving him merit.

it's not a typo, lovesmayfamilis is probably referring to this thread "Paano ba mag ka roon ng MERIT ang Bitcointalk account?" on the Pilipinas board. the OP said in that post that he was already using bitcointalk in 2015 but when he left the country he couldn't log in again and eventually forgot about the account.
I was unable to open the link you provided above because it has been deleted by moderators, but here is the archived post.

He was a member since 2015, registered another account in 2018, asking about merit system in 2022. This is kind of hilarious. Even still an understatement. That he wants to know how to send merit. I think this is what a beginners would have known.

He plagiarized, reported and now banned.

Please, I don't know if there's something I miss in the date of registration with what OP said and yours as both are in conflict. It's 2018 on OP's profile and as they pointed out too as against your 2015. Is that a typo or am I looking in the wrong direction from yours or what?

As a matter of fact, scams are not moderated here, so there is actually more freedom to try to scam than one would think (rules number 6 and 17 are perhaps the closest related, but only apply to a subset of cases). The alleged strictness of rules does therefore not really apply to scams, although there are secondary mechanisms to try to mitigate these (i.e. Flags and Feedback).

Unfortunately, one of the most recurring cases of rule application, with a sour outcome, is derived from plagiarism. It’s a topic that has been discussed ad nausea on the forum, despite which it keeps on happening time after time. That points to two things: On the one hand, people do not understand (a step beyond reading) that particular rule if they get to grasp the rules at all. On the other hand, and also discussed on multiple occasions, there are ways to making it clearer (i.e. caption shown above the posting box or below the post button).

Yeah i agree things are pretty strict here but can't blame them completely as it is one of the important place for crypto so it make perfect target for scammers. And if you know crypto the scam percentage in crypto world is extremely high.

Wow, so I had been tagged of Plagiarism already.
Someone is asking so I do a research on it.

As far as I can tell, you are not tagged, but suspected of plagiarism.

Also, checking on plagiarism, I can see that you are judging much more harder than what youtube does.

The rules are different here. If this is true "I studied all of the rules last night..." [ref], you should already know this.

I'm not a newbie in crypto world but a newbie in this forum ...

About 2015 account, can't you see on the post that I explained them why I can't get back to it...

Your arguments contradict each other. Furthermore, ban evasion is against forum rules as well.

So I am not allowed to reply here in my thread and need to wait 24hours to reply in my thread for people who posted here?

Wrong. You are allowed to reply to threads, but you are not allowed to post multiple posts in a row. Again, read the forum rules (particularly rule 32).

To finish off this story Is there a way for me to delete my account permanently. Also, you don't get the right to call me a fool.

No. There is no way for you to permanently delete your account, only admins can do that. Also, a fool is someone who behaves foolishly. How would you describe your behavior here?

Yeah,

Thanks for answering everything.
I'm sorry but I'm actually done with this forum, I had been nuked by big players here.

Sorry guys. Logging off now. Goodbye Smiley

The multiple posting and bump rules are different and serves different purposes.
• The multiple posting rule prevents a user from making consecutive posts on a thread, you need to edit the new comment into the existing reply.
• Bump rules means you need to wait 24 hours between bumps. Bumps are replies made solely to give visibility to a thread by taking it to the top of the board it was posted in.

I don't ban evade lol.

To finish off this story Is there a way for me to delete my account permanently. Also, you don't get the right to call me a fool.

I don't need to farm merits and I actually don't care about rankings here which will not help me in any way.
If you don't ban evade why in the first place you created new account instead using your old account? Though using multiple accounts is allowed, but it's suspicious.

There's no way to delete account in this forum, you can only lock your account. If you think delete account can hide you from plagiarism, then you're wrong. Almost everyone plagiarism got nuked or banned.

You were registered on the forum in 2015. What happened to your account?

Another one bites the dust! Good job @lovesmayfamilis!

Another obviously fake newbie member trying to squeeze couple of merits, but as usual gets busted right away and will probably end up getting banned for plagiarism. Man, these fools will never learn; instead laying low and trying to farm those merits in a more subtle way, they instead create these threads that just get them attention, but not the kind they wanted.

I'm sorry, but what multiple post did I do?

https://i.ibb.co/0YGY4Pt/Screenshot-1.png

Now I understand why you need bold text. It turns out you suffer from poor eyesight.
Also, you need to read the forum rules first and respect the rules that the forum lives by. And only after that, give out your judgment about someone.
If you are an experienced member, use your brain to figure out how to avoid plagiarism on the forum.
Nothing personal.
I don't quite get the multiple post rule.

So I am not allowed to reply here in my thread and need to wait 24hours to reply in my thread for people who posted here?

Now I am having a hard time understanding the rules.

Rule 13. Bumps, "updates" are limited to once per 24 hours per thread. Bumping multiple threads at the same time is allowed if it's not annoying. [2][e] (so I can't reply to my threads???)

21. Old bumps should be deleted. [2] (What is this, I will delete my replies?)

32. Posting multiple posts in a row (excluding bumps and reserved posts by the thread starter) is not allowed. (This is the multiple post, so I can post as long as it is not ibn a row??)

Anyway, this will be my last post in this forum. Ciao!!!

Nothing personal.

Don't take it personally aranacj. This is not one of the best Bitcoin forums, but THE BEST, founded by Satoshi himself, so don't let other members' criticism discourage you from posting here if you really have good intentions.

Take into account that this section of the forum is usually frequented by cheaters, multi-account ban evaders and the like, so most veteran members tend to look at posts here with a magnifying glass.

It must be hard to post with enthusiasm and getting it in the neck, but you can take the positive side of everything with the proper mindset.
Thanks man, I felt really sad putting time and research on every replies and post I have here.

Now I am quite disappointed, but It's my fault anyway. If I don't get the chance to post again in this forum at least I found some persons here who has feelings. Thanks for your post especially the last sentence, kinda lift-up the bad feeling I felt from this thread I started. Thank yoou so much!

Wow, so I had been tagged of Plagiarism already.

You may have read the rules, but are far from understanding them, which is actually the only thing that matters. Plagiarism on this forum is punishable by a permanent ban, and it all comes down to the fact that it is not ethical and moral to present other people's content as your own. In your case, the moderators even have a choice, to ban you for plagiarism or ban evasion.
