Interesting. Is Tor not open source? Governments do use Tor for many reasons, to hide their own identity. It could just be that they give money to the Tor project because they can. Other than that I haven't seen any evidence of a backdoor. And the more people using Tor, for example running a DeepOnion wallet, the much harder it makes it to track anyone.

Yes TOR is opensource and upgraded regularly, now if the US secret services want to know how to best counter privacy technologies, it's a legitimate effort from their part. It does not mean that DeepOnion with all the different privacy layers will not be really hard if not impossible to trace and they will have to find other ways than through the DeepOnion network.

There is no 100% anonymity on the internet neither Tor nor any other may make you complete anonym. And you're right you can be tracked even through Tor, but it will be much harder and if you don't launder millions a day, then tracking you just won't worth it.

I read about different withdrawal days. Mine took just one day, other peoples withdrawal took more or less. Seems like its like gambling at the moment but the good part is that they dont fail like mt gox and take peoples coins away.

But for that reason we keep adding more security layers (and I think that the idea of having a tech from a US military investigation doesn't make it "100% owned by the US")..
DeepProtocol+DeepSend will implement more layers to make it truly anonymous

Yes, we have other implementations to keep it fully anonymous. And privacy coins will be valued more in future.Just wait for those taxes

Let's just say the US government does have a couple tor nodes. Then there is a chance the US government could find our location but we will still have stealth addresses and DeepSend. Plus, the purpose of tor isn't just to hide your location from the US government but from private actors as well.

It's not a big concern to me.
