I agree with your view here. So many people in the forum are scared and doubt whether HODLING is indeed the best way in this current scenario which shows that they have weak hands and I guess many of them are dumping already which is good since I can purchase more onions for a low price. It is definitely not easy to HODL for the long term while looking at the charts regularly which is why I advise everyone to think too much about the value of DeepOnion and focus on other activities in life and check up on the DeepOnion value now and then(Example: Once a month). I forgot to update my wallet to 1.5.1, and continued staking with 1.5.0 (the first).
Is that influenced my Airdrop or not ?

staking will be same even with old wallet, airdrop will be same too
Airdrops is % of your holding of Onions in wallet.
Also, mining rewards dropping from 8 per Block to 4 first year and 2 after the second year.
