What do you guys think of the article on XSPEC in Coindesk? Pretty certain most of their unique features are very similar to ours
Depends how you view it I believe. If you are a normal crypto person you will be outraged that your crypto wasn't featured. But if we are level headed and objective about it, we can clearly see this is good for DeepOnion. Having privacy coins mentioned on a major outlet like CoinDesk is as some would say is "YUUUGE". Also the fact that we are eerily similar helps our cause. Although I believe the anonymous stake feature is single to their coin. That would be a cool addition but alas we have other things in the cards yet. I agree with all of the above, my only concern is that DeepOnion and XSPEC are sharing a similar market space, and coverage like that, whilst benefiting everyone, benefits them the most. :-)

Man we need bigger exchanges to be listed otherwise our coin value will decrease more and that's not benefical for all of us.
What about DEEPSEND? the feauture that lend me to this project where is it?
This is an argument I always read, but I don't really think it's the moment taking into account the costs of listing in the big ones and, on the other hand, I don't think it would positively affect the price.
Remember that price went up to almost $20 and no bigger exchange was needed at that time... so think it twice when you claim that a super expensive listing would make the price go up. The only ones that benefit from that deal are the exchanges, at least at this moment when the market sentiment is not very high.

ONION is just one altcoin out of many and a lot of more will be created. Not every coin will reach the moon, more often than not they will be abonded by their devteam and die. Bitcoin is very different, it's not an altcoin of which an infinite amount can be created, while Bitcoin has a fixed amount of coins. Everyone wants Bitcoin, everyone wants to dump ONION for Bitcoin, get it? It get's pumped and dumped for the BTC.
You all are trying, but ONION is dying.
I weep at your ignorance. First of all, most altcoins have a fixed amount of coins like Bitcoin. Secondly, while any developer of any coin might abandon any project at any moment, the probability of this happening is not something that should scare off people. Instead, people should have the common sense to research before investing. For me, DeepOnion's core developers are trustworthy.You all are trying, but ONION is dying.
As for the common phrase of mooning, not everyone cares if a coin will reach $1000. It would be great if it happens but there are entirely reasonable prices altcoins can reach that can satisfy investors.
Altcoins can keep on being created, you can't say that for Bitcoin, there's only one with a finite max. supply. Last time I checked ONION devs don't even have their real names and pictures on their site, now that's a dangerous investment. And it will never reach $20 price again, maybe not even $1 before it dies.
By the way, I'd like to see you come back when DeepOnion surpasses its ATH to apologize and say you were wrong.
That's easy to say when you've got airdropped coins.
The more altcoins are created the more coins and tokens are added to the market, use your brain. Despite the forks there's only one real Bitcoin, there's no one real altcoin, they are all over the place. That's why Bitcoin is so valuable compared to altcoins.
It would only reach ATH again if the whole market go extremely bullish in all of a sudden, which clearly won't happen.
As for there being one true Bitcoin, well, I don't really care. First of all, there isn't only one, there are hundreds of Bitcoin copies, some of which have even better features than Bitcoin, including but not limited to lower transaction fees and faster transaction times. Bitcoin paved the way for many cryptocurrencies with better features, and we thank it for that. But Bitcoin is what Friendster and MySpace were for social media. At some point, they became obsolete because more competent social media platforms were made.

Whatever happened to the plan of incorporating smart contracts in Deep Onion? Does anyone know any news about that?
It’s happening I believe, and will be achievable after the coding update. That’s my understanding of it.
