RIP 10% Staking and Mining Rewards.. thanks for all your support this year  Undecided
For those who can't see how serious this is, if you used to get 1 ONION PoS reward, now it is 0.5 ONION, and by next year it will be 0.1 ONION.
It's for the best. Halving the rewards will give DeepOnion's price a boost in my opinion.

For the next one year, I'm only going to accumulate as much of this thing as I can, once the PoS reward goes down to 1% and it becomes more difficult to earn ONION, it should see a good going-up momentum.

IMO, it'll be Raiblocks/NANO of 2019-20. They did the same thing, gave away a lot of Raiblocks in 2016-17 and then boom at the end of 2017 when XRB touched the maximum supply.
I hope the Boom will happen earlier, when the dev team release DeepSend this quarter.

How does DeepOnion DeepVault work?

Imagine DeepVault as a notary service, but on the blockchain!! you register any important document you want to authenticate on the DeepOnion blockchain, and any person can verify that document to see if still the same, intact.

🎖️ DeepOnion 🎖️
About 56% of crypto startups that raise money through token sales die within four months of their initial coin offerings.

Just imagine how much money lost investors.
They take millions dollars of the investments and after 4 month 56% projects just dead....

This is crazy. More than half of the ICOs are scams. Im glad that i have not been involved in any of these.
Main reason why I stop following ICO projects. They are too risky. DeepOnion is the most successful non-ICO one which I have ever been in.

Same here. I avoid ICOs like the plague, and state that on videos when I comment.

Ive particpated in around 10, and only made out well on 2, a few have just run off with the money after the token sale and nothing more.

They are a group of pictures, promises, and they expect money/"Contributions" to make all that come true.... Your buying into hopes and dreams.

Id always suggest to research already active projects, look at roadmap/whitepaper, development, active development... how far they have come goals met/exceeded. Do they have unique technology and probable actual use case? Check the size of the community... Look at DeepOnion, for example Smiley

I thought this is the DeepVault Academy Video... it will be a lot more detailed, but until then, this will do the job.

Happy anniversary DeepOnion!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEEPONION!!!

SOO much accomplished in just ONE YEAR

Feels like a life time... and I missed the first month and a half or so due to the original registration rules!

God how time flies... From a standard QT based wallet a barely visited website and low participants in drop...to AN EMPIRE!

I can only imagine what is yet to come

Happy birthday. Feels like not long ago we were like newbies, but now we have learnt so much about DeepOnion.
I will second that thought, i.came into DeepOnion 6 months ago.wothout a clue, now I'll quite happily talk all night about blockchain and how it will change the world. Great place to be!

Yeah the importance of privacy has raisen in my mind and I am much more cautious about it these days.

Mm privacy has a growing use case every single day as we are tracked more and more each day.

Definitely, though I do think airdrop projects are just as risky, at the end of the day it does strongly depend on the quality of the project and that's why we're here to stay.

I would think airdrop projects are less risky as they are more transparent than ICOs. But I do agree it depends on the quality of the project at the end of the day.

Mm but more often than not ICO's fail because they can't raise the funds or just don't have that much exposure/strong use case.
